We are writing to advise you that we have applied for a building permit/variance from the Town of Southold for a deck on the rear of our home. Due to our unusual situation (we have three front yards) and setback issues, we must ask for permission fi.om both the Zoning Board of Appeals and our neighbors. I am enclosing a "Legal Notice" and a copy of our survey that will show you the dimensions and placement of the proposed deck.
