Please be advised that I reviewed the headers over the doors and closets. The headers shown over
the bedroom entry doors and the bathroom doors are in walls that are non-bearing and therefore
are not required. These were shown to facilitate ease of framing for the opemngs. Additionally,
the headers over the closets are in a non-bearing wall and are there only to fxame the opening.
Please omit the headers in question and be advised that the field conditions as they exist meet or
exceed the New York State Building Code.

sets of plans, accurate plot plan to scale. Fee according to schedule.

c. The work covered by this application may not be commenced before issuance of Building Permit.
d. Upon approval of this application, the Building Inspector will issue a Building Permit to the applicant. Such a permit

is issued by the Building Inspector.

Based on the information you have submitted, the New York State
Department of Environmenta~ Conservation has determined that:
Therefore, in accordance with the current Tidal Wetlands Land Use
Re?u!ations (6NYCRR Part 661) no permit is required under the Tidal
Wetlands Act . Please be advised, however, that no constr~ction,
sedimentation, or disturbance of any kind may take place seaward of
the tidal wetlands jurisdictional boundary, as indicated above,
without a permit. It is your responsibility to ensure that all
necessary precautions are taken to prevent any sedimentation or
other alteration or disturbance to the ground surface or vegetation
within Tidal Wetlands jurisdiction which may result from your
project'. Such precautions may include maintaining adequate work
area between the tidal wetland jurisdictional boundary and your
project (i.e. a 15' to 20' wide construction area) or erecting a
temporary fence, barrier, or hay bale berm.
Please be further advised that this letter does not relieve you of
the responsibility of obtaining any necessary permits or approvals
from other agencies.

Dear Applicant:
This is in response to your request for a Letter of Non-Jurisdiction from this Department regarding
the above referenced property.
Upon initiating processing, it was identified that a Tidal Wetlands Letter of Non-Jurisdiction (copy
enclosed), Application # 1-4738-00908/00001, was issued on 2/16/94 for the property landward of the
functional bulkhead greater than 100 ft. in length and constructed prior to 9/20/77.
The presently proposed structures are also landward of this previously determined jurisdictional
boundary and therefore do not require a permit t~om this Department. Accordingly, the Application for
Permit and supporting material(s) are being returned.
Please be advised that this office does not make repeated determinations for the same site. The
limits of our jurisdiction were indicated in our original Non-Jurisdiction letter and unless substantial
changes in site conditions have occurred the letter remains in effect. The original letter should be saved for
your use in the future.
