The following resolution was offered by
who moved its adoption, seconded by
WHEREAS, the contract between the Fishers Island
Garbage and Refuse District and Fishers Island Farms, Inc. for
the collection and disposal of garbage in said DJ. trier will
expire on December ~1, 1958, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Commissioners to
contract for the removal and disposal of garbage for a five year
period commencing on January 1, 1958.
NOW T~BEFORE BE IT RESOLF~D
That sealed bids be received by the Commissioners for
the removal and disposal of ~arbage until lz00 o'clock P.M.,
November 17, 1958 in accordance with the form of proposal, copy
of specifications and proposed agreement prepared by the
attorney for the District and attached hereto, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the attorney of the
District be and he hereby is authorized an&~direeted to cause a
notice to bidders to be published once in the Mattituck-Watchmaz
Long Island Traveler and once in the New London Day at least
10 days prior to the time provided herein for the opening of
said bids.
The foregoing resolution was duly put to a vote which
resulted aa follo~w~

Fishers Island Garbage and Refuse District on the day of
