Strang, Co-hairman Sanford Hanauer, Mattituck Robert W,. Keith, Secretary, Mattituck Herbert Ernest, Southold Edward A. Dart, Southold Yah Rieger, Greenport Also attending were Alice Hussie, James Gray, Donna Dzugas-Smith and Bernard Heinisch. DZUGAS-SMITH WINERY: (Pre-submission) The applicant requested that the building be located 125' from the road rather than 220' as earlier agreed or the 140' originally proposed. The ARC asked that the proposed building be staked in the new location and that a sketch site plan be submitted to show location, driveway, parking and location of the addition to be constructed later. GRIM FARM STAND: (Garrett Streng recusad himself). This is a voluntary submission inasmuch as a site plan approval is not required other than for parking. The Committee accepted the proposal as submitted. RIVERHEAD BUILDING SUPPLY: The material submitted did not address the use of light panels of varying heights nor the use of color to break up the bulk of the west wall. The committee requests elevations showing how this will be done. RAPHAEL VINEYARDS (Pre-submission). The ARC considered a proposal to locate the building 350' from the road and rotate it 60 degrees. After discussion the Committee voted unanimously to hold to its earlier recommendation of a location 500' from the road. BURT'S RELIABLE: The applicant reported that the addition will use siding of the same material and color as the present building. The Committee approved the plan. JIMBO REALTY COMPANY (Garrett Strang recusad himself) Mr. Gray met with the Committee to discuss its earlier recommendations, particularly roof lines, board and batten siding and lowering the levels of the buildings. It was agreed that sketches would be submiffed showing side and roof treatments from the North Road and Horton Lane as well as sections showing landscaping and berms. -2- Robert W. Keith Secretary
