ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW COMMITTEE
June 28, 2000, 4:00 P.M.
The ARC met at the King Kullen Shopping Center:
Garrett A. Strang, Co-Chairman
Sanford Hanauer, Mattituck
Robert Keith, Mattituck, Secretary
Also attending were Robert G. Kassner of the Planning Board staff as well as
Daniel Serota and Burton Seelig of the Serota Organization.
Moved by Garrett A. Strang and seconded by Sanford Hanauer it was
RESOLVED to APPROVE the MINUTES of the meeting of June 26, 2000.
KING KULLEN SHOPPING CENTER (Main Road - Cutchogue)
Moved by Garrett Strang and seconded by Sanford Hanauer, it was
RESOLVED to recommend APPROVAL with the CONDITIONS that the lower
line of the facade on the easterly end be lowered to match the westerly run, th,{~t
the column bases be narrowed as possible, that the columns flanking the
entrance to the market be offset so as to widen the entrance space and that the
signage of new tenants be matched in color and style to those in place.
