ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW COMMITTEE
September 7, 2000
The ARC met at Town Hall at 4:00 PM. Members present were:
Garrett A. Strang, Co-Chairman
Sanford Hanauer, Mattituck
Robert Keith, Mattituck, Secretary
Howard Meineke, Cutchogue
Also attending were David Saland, Charles M. Thomas, and Jeffrey T. Butler for
Laurel Links.
Moved by Garrett A. Strang and seconded by Howard Meineke, it was
RESOLVED to APPROVE the MINUTES of the meeting of August 29,
2000.
LAUREL LINKS (Main Road - Mattituck)
Moved by Sanford Hanauer and seconded by Howard Meineke, it was
RESOLVED to APPROVE the colors for the Cart and Maintenance barns, i.e.
Cabot's Nantucket White on cedar board and batten with Emerald Green roofs
and service doors., for the Club House, Pool House and Half-way House, natural
cedar roof and siding shingles with white trim.
Vote of the Committee: Ayes all.
It is noted that on August 29 the Committee added a SUBSEQUENT
CONDITION that the location of roof penetrations and catalogue cuts of all
external lighting fixtures be presented prior to the issuance of a building permit.
At its meeting of June 1, the Committee asked that screen planting be considered
to the north of the maintenance barn for the benefit of the residence across the
railroad tracks and that the Planning Board consider if the parking lot and~ll
lighting will be screened from the Main Road.
