ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW COMMITTEE
November 18~ 2004
The ARC met at the Town Hail Annex at 4:00 p.m Members present were:
Robert I. Brown, Co-Chairman

Nicholas J. Planamento, Southold
Ronald McGreevy, Mattituck
Robert Keith, Mattituck
Aisc present was Donald Gatz for Gatz Landscaping
Moved by Robert Brown and seconded by Garrett Strang, it was RESOLVED to
APPROVE the MINUTES of the meetings of August 17 and October 7, 2004.
Vote of the Committee: Ayes all.
OSPREY DOMINION WINERY (Main Road - Peconic) SCTM #1000-75-20.1 &2
Moved by Robert Keith and seconded by Sanford Hanauer, it was RESOLVED to
APPROVE the material samples which FULFILL the final condition of the
approval.
Vote of the Committee: Ayes All.
Applicants are reminded that deviations from approved plans without the review
and approval of the Architectural Review Committee will cause recision of the
original approval and may negatively impact upon securing the Certificate of
Occupancy.
SOUTHOLD FLOOR COVERING (North Road - Southold) SCTM# 1000-55-2-

Moved by Robert Brown and seconded by Sanford Hanauer, it was RESOLVED
to TABLE consideration of the shingle color until ail the items requested at the
meeting of October 7 can be considered together.
Vote of the Committee: Ayes all.
ISLAND HEALTH PROJECT (Central Avenue - Fishers Island)
Moved by Robert Keith and seconded by Herbert Adler, it ~vas RESOLYED to TABLE
the APPLICATION awairing the missing elevations, catalogue cuts of the lio~ating fLxtures
and the remaining items on the .%RC checMist. When these are received, the Committee
asks tbat Mr. Semon fbrward them to Reynolds Dupont, our member on Fishers Island.
Vote of the Committee: Ayes all.
GATZ LANDSCAPING (Sound Avenue - Mattituck) SCTM# 1000-121-1-4,6
Mr. Gatz described an 11,700 square foot steel building to be located 464 feet north of
Sound Ax,'enue for use as offices, shop and storage. The roof and wa'mscoating am to be
green and the siding beige. It was moved by Robert Keith and seconded by Robert Brown
it was RESOLVED to APPROVE the APPLICATION with the CONDITIONS that
/he siggaage and lighting of it, if any, be submitted for review and that pole lighting be
directed inward.
Vote of the Committee: .ayes All.
Applicants are reminded that deviations from approved drawings without the review and
approval of the Architectural Review Committee will cause recission of the original
approval and ma)' negatively impact securing a Certificate of Occupancy.
FITNESS ADVANTAGE (North Road at Youngs Ave.-Southold} SCTM# 1000-55-2-

TABLE the review of the catalogue cuts of the exterior lighting f~xtures awaiting
information about their locations on the building.
