ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW COMMITTEE
September 6. 2005
The ARC met at the Town Hall at 4:00 p.m.
Members present were Architect Glynis Berry, Co-Chairmen Sanford
Hanauer and Robert Keith, James Grathwohl of the Historic Preservation
Commission as well as Nicholas J. Planamento, Howard Meinke and Ronald
McGreevy.
Also present were Thomas Wickham of the Town Board, Victor
L'Eplattenier and Bruno Semon of the Planning Board staff, as well as George
Giannaris and William Gorman for Hellenic Snack Bar
Moved by Howard Meinke and seconded by Sanford Hanauer, it was RESOLVED to
,LPPROVE the MI~FFJTES of tli¢ meeting of August 18, 2005.
Vote of the Committee: Ayes All.

After rex4ewing rexSsed drawings and elevations, it was RESOLVED by Howard
Meinke and seconded by Sanford Hanauer to APPROVE the application as submitted.

Applicants are reminded that de'~iations fi~om approved drawings without the
review and approval of the )a'chitecmral Review Committee will cause recission of the
ori¢nal approval ,and ma)' negatively impact upon securing the Certificate of Occupancy.

Alter re,dewing plans for a wining' and fi)r a sales and tasting builffmg, it was
moved by James Crrathwohl and seconded by Ron McGrcevy to express an enthusiaslic
ENDORSEMENT of the CONCEPT and to TABLE the APPLICATION awaiting
several of lhe items on the ARC checklist, including siding material and color, trim material
and color, detail of tlic pergola and material of the posts, location of roof vents, location
and shielding of heating and cooling units and waste container, location of the exterior
lighting with catalog;ac cuts, signage and spot ele~'ations of the buildings.
Vote of the Committee: Ayes All.
The Committee suggests to the Planning Board that the split rail fence along Sound
Avenue be used to define the entrances to the Farm Stand and the renovated builffmgs.
