The minutes for the August ~21, ~2008 meeting were approved.
New Applications:
SAVES, INC. SCTM #1000-59-$-$1
PROJECT APPROVED: The Committee is recommending that there be an increase in
the amount of employee/volunteer parking spaces, and the parking area be relocated to
the rear of the building excluding the handicap parking which is recommended to be
along the side of the driveway opposite the side of the building.
Motion made and seconded. All in favor.
SEVEN ELEVEN SCTM#
Patricia C. Moore, Esq. was present to represent the proposed project.
PROJECT NOT APPROVED: The Committee is recommending that the applicant
return with the following amendments incorporated into the site plan: o The use of Hardie Lap Siding in sand/neutral tones.
0 Stone veneer only to go up to the window sill height around the building.
o Window's trim to be white in color.
0 S.D.L. (simulated divided lights) on the transom and door.
o The cupola on the roof should be wider than shown (e.g. 5'x7') to agree more
with the roof length.
o Replace the Azaleas with Leucothoe and/or Euyonomous and replace the
Hemlocks with Spruce.
0 Change the lighting fixtures to a tnore simplified style gooseneck and only
single light fixtures in lieu of double light fixtures.
o The signage on the building should not be lit internally. The Comnfittee
suggests using gooseneck lighting on both the building sign and the street
sign.
o The Committee recommends window facades on each side of the building.
o Show the east and west elevations on the site plan.
o The Committee recommends that the dumpster be located as far back as
possible along the side of the btfilding, and the access door located on the
side be moved as far fi'ont as possible.
Motion made and seconded. All in favor.
A motion was made to close the meeting at 5:S0p.~n. All in favor.
