Members Present: Sandford Hanauer, Chairman; Herbert Ernest; Joseph Lee; Ronald
McGreevy; Howard Meinke; Nicholas Planamento; Mark Schwartz; Kristy Winser, Planner;

The minutes tbr the February 1~2, ~2009 meeting were approved.
Introduction:
All applicants will give a presentation consisting of drawings, exterior materials samples and
other inibrmation required by the Planning Department to the Committee. The Committee
will ask questions and make suggestions as part of a general discussion with each applicant.
Final recmnmendations from the ARC will be presented to the Planning Board in the ARC
Meeting Minutes, and be made part of the Planning file for that application. The Planning
Board will consider these recommendations, together with all comments from other agencies,
and provide the applicant with a comprehensive written list of its requested revisions.
New Applications:
N&L Properties, LP. SCTM #1000-75-~-4
Kirk Lehman, Architect and Charles Angona, Architect tkom AML Architecture
presented this project to the conunittee.
The Committee recommends this project is acceptable as submitted.
Motion made and seconded. All in favor.
Seven-Eleven, Mattituck SCTM # 1000-14~-1-'27
Patricia C. Moore, Esq., Don Cannetti, Construction Consultant and Joey Carnfine,
Construction Consultant presented this project to the committee.
The Committee is recom~nending the following modifications to the current project
plan:
o The street sign should be a monument style sign with no internal
lighting and with the suggested use of a Dark Sky compliant simple
goose-neck style light fixture on the sign.
o The street sign is not to exceed more than 6' in height.
o The use (>fa stone fa{;ade matching the building at the base of the street
sign.
o The use of a natural split-shake shingle on all of the gables on the
building, as suggested by Mr. Cannetti, Construction Consultant.

The use of Dark Sky compliant simple goose-neck style parking lot
lighting fixtures without scrolling along the neck.
The use of 10" square columns along the front of the building with a
stone pedestal at the base of each column to complement the stone on the
building.
Thicken the i?ont arches between each column to complement the wider
columns.
Change the colors of the building to the Nantucket Stacked Stone option
with a complementing light gray-toned hearty plank above the stone.
Motion made and seconded. All in favor.
A motion was made to close the meeting at 5:$op.m. All in favor.
