Introduction: All applicants will give a presentation consisting of drawings, exterior materials samples and other information required by the Planning Department to the Committee. The Committee will ask questions and make suggestions as part of a general discussion with each applicant. Final recommendations from the ARC will be presented to the Planning Board in the ARC Meeting Minutes, and be rnade part of the Planning file for that application. The Planning Board will consider these recommendations, together with ali comments from other agencies, and provide the applicant with a comprehensive written list of its requested revisions. New Applications: · PINDAR VINEYARDS STORAGE BLDG. SCTM#: 1000-86-1-15 Brian Cummings, Provisional Planner Trainee and Pindar Damianos, agent for property owner presented the project for a proposed re-location and re- construction of a 3,259 square foot steel storage building from Pindar Vineyards to 4195 Route 25 in Peconic, land also owned and operated by Pindar Vineyards. The building is 82'6" x 39'6" with a height of 15'4" and proposed for farm equipment storage. The semi-circle building (Quonset hut) wilt be set back approximately 600 feet North of Route 25. The project is approved as submitted today. Motion made and seconded for approval. All in faw~r. · LIEB VINES, LLC SCTM#: 1000-83-3-2.1 Brian Cummings, Provisional Planner Trainee presented the project for a proposed conversion of an existing 5,569 square foot agricultural storage building to an operating tasting room and dry storage building, in addition, a 10,427 square foot bluestone parking lot and a 1,440 square foot brick patio. The Committee is recommending the following modifications to the plan: Eliminating the proposed double entry gate on the northwesterly side of the proposed patio. Replacing the proposed arborvitaes around proposed patio with privet hedges. - Planting of shade trees to veil the building and parking area. Two trees on the northern side of the handicapped parking area, and four trees along the northerly side of the proposed patio. - Examples of shade tree species: Tulip Poplar, Red Oak, Little Leaf Linden, Red Maple, Beach Tree.
