LAND PRESERVATION COMMITTEE MEETING
MONDAY, OCTOBER 21, 1998
MINUTES
Present were: Dick Ryan, Reed Jarvis, Fred Lee, Joe Krukowski,
Noreen McKenna and Brian Murphy
Dick asked Brian to give an update to the committee on the Kaloski
and Ruland properties. The Kaloski purchase is moving along. It was
mentioned that Ruland would prefer to close after the 1st of January.
Community Preservation Project Plan - Dick asked the members to
attend the informational meeting scheduled for Thursday, October 22,
1998 at Town Hall.
The committee reviewed the Reinhardt appraisal and decided to hold
off making an offer on it at this time. Should he ask, it was the
contention of the committee to offer $7700 or $7800 per acre.
Since the last meeting on September 21, 1998, Dick has not heard
from Donna Dzugas-Smith.
Dick has all the materials collected for putting up the signs. He
asked the committee for assistance. They will meet on Saturday
morning, October 31st to put up the signs on Southold Town
preserved land.
With no further business to be conducted, the meeting was adjourned
at 9:25 p.m.
