Present: Frederick Andrews, Beth Motschenbacher, Rona Smith, Michael Herbert, John Vahey,
Daniel Sarnowski and Phillip Beltz. Excused/Absent: Jeanne Kelley and LeRoy Heiliger
Approval of Minutes: Minutes approved for October 10, 2011.
Update of Resale of Cottaqes: Two buyers qualify as "priority population", meet financial
requirements and have procured mortgage commitments are vying for vacant unit. The
CDCLI informed Phillip they would provide technical assistance in issuing a lottery. John
suggested that Town advertise/solicit receipt of applications for potential applicants to be
considered for future openings of units at the Cottages.
Housinq Resource Fair: Tabled.
Accessory Apartment Leqislation: A homeowner moved into a converted accessory
structure while a family on the Section 8 waiting list moved into the vacant house.
Comprehensive Plan-Housinq Chapter Draft 11.07.11: Additional discussion regarding
the draft.
Community Development Block Grant Public Hearinq: Scheduled for November 22nd
at 4:35 to solicit ideas from the public regarding Town's 2012 expenditures of $94,000 in
projected funding.
Action Lonq Island: Housing and Rental Expo will take place in March 2012.
Other: John presented chart of sales price of FHFA figures versus CPI. He will amend to
include median income.
