II1. IV. Requires Immediate Attention: Ongoing Problems with Municitv Software At the monthly meeting with ZBA staff I was made aware of the details of numerous problems our office has with the operation of the Town's Municity software program, and the inability of the company subcontracted by General Code to successfully resolve them. These persistent problems (including receiving ZBA applications for Greenport Village that must be deleted from our records)~ often require redundant, repetitive and frustrating procedures that necessarily reduce the efficiency and productivity of office operations m~d staff morale, l,loyd Reisenberg has provided constant assistance and intervention on our behalf and has once again submitted requests to the programmers to address our concerns. Alter talking to Mr. Reisenberg, should the problems continue to persistent, we will be bringing this matter to the Town Board mhd Town Atto~aey's office for further action. Board and Office Policies, Practices, and Activities: ZBA Code of Conduct and Procedural Guidelines A confidential draft "ZBA Code of Conduct and Procedural Guidelines" complied at the request of the Board by ATA Andaloro has been distributed for Board review and discussion in December 2011. The draft is based on input from Board Members and notes taken at seminars given by Special Counsel Phil Siegel, which the Town Board approved in fulfillment of the annual continuing education requirement for ZBA Members. Our goal is to voluntarily adopt a final draft that will supplement and further clarify the responsibilities and ethical standards proscribed for Zoning Boards by the Town of Southold and New York State.
