The connections have been designed to withstand 120 mph wind spccds per the Residential Code of New York State. The structural loads imposed by the pv panels, brackets and connections can be adequately supported by the existing 2"x8' rafters at 16" o.c. and meet the requirements of the Residential Code of New York State. This installation followed the approved permit plans and meets the requirements of the Residential Code of N.Y. State and has been found to be acceptable by my office. Please note, the Maximum Rebate paid by LIPA will not exceed 50% of the installed cost Following the completion of your PV system installation and prior to LIPA conducting a functional test of your PV system, setting the appropriate meter and processing your rebate, you must provide LIPA with a temporary or copy of the electric inspection certificate issued by the electrical inspection agency having jurisdiction. In addition, LIPA requires an external, Icad rated, disconnect switch. This switch must be Iockable in the open position with a standard LIPA padlock with a 3/8 inch shank. When your PV project is completed, please return all applicable invoices to our Rebate Processing Section. To ensure prompt processing of your rebate, the invoice must specify manufacturer, model number, quantity and purchase price for each requested device.
