-2-
The committee reviewed the Land Preservation Candidate Selection
Criteria and £valuation Criteria. A few suggestions were made.
Dick will rewrite these.
Woodhull property - Dick visited the sister of Lois Woodhull. They will
reconfigure the survey, as there are wooded areas on the property.
Fort Corchaug - Dick is a member of the Fort Corchaug Recreation and
Management Committees. The Recreation Committee consists of Jean
Cochran, Jim McMahon, Dick Ward and Dick Ryan. The Management
Committee is a large committee with a focus on the management of the Fort.
Old Business-
Aliperti is still working on a 60 day time period with the Town Attorney.
He is suppose to get back to her within this 60 day time period.
Brown property - has been sold since our offer to them. The new owner
called Dick and he will be writing to them.
Ackerman property - Mr. Ackerman called Dick. He has a question re:
his mortgage company. Dick told him to contact his lawyer.
Young property in Orient - George Young turned down our offer in a
letter received today.
Ed and Dan Lathams' farm - the 80 acre farm is too large for one buyer
to purchase. Therefore, they would like to split it into two 40 acre
parcels. The Lathams will probably go to the Planning Board for a
subdivision of the property. Dick will contact the Planning Board and
perhaps we can do something jointly. Dick will also speak to Tim Caufield.
Fiore property - this property is back on a forward track.
The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 17, 1997 at 7:30 p.m.
With no further business to be discussed the meeting was adjourned at
10:00 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
