RESOLUTION OF APPROVAL FOR LAND USE TRAINING
WHEREAS, effective January 1, 2007, all planning board and zoning board of appeala members/n
New York State, as well as alternate members of those boards, must complete a minimum of four hom-s
of training each year; and
WHEREAS, the legislative body of the [Town / Village / City] is required to approve the activities that
sahsfy tiffs training requirement; NOW, THEREFORE, be it
RESOLVED, that the Association of Towns with the cooperation and assistance of the New York
Conference of Mayors, New York State Planning Federation and others, is approved to provide
training to meet the above cited state law requirements when the training provided pertains to municipal
planv~g, zoning, community, deSxgn, environmental issues, economic development, and local
government functions and practices.
Please return this Certificate to your Town's Legislative Body for approval
