Please contact Chief Martin Flatley (765-2600) at the Southold Police Department to discuss the area on the road your guests will be parking and the type of identification to be used to by those guests. Very truly yours, Linda J. Cooper cc: Chief Flatley RECEIVED JUL 2 9 2011 Southold Town ClerlL To Members of Southold Town Board: July 29, 2011 PO Box 71 Peconic, NY 11958 Chief Flatley has suggested that we submit a request for permission for guests who will be attending our daughter's backyard wedding on September 10, 2011, to park along Mill Lane between the hours of 2:00 and 11:00 pm. The wedding will be held at 3055 Mill Lane. Although, in an effort to provide safe off-road parking, we have received permission from many of our neighbors to park our guests' cars in their driveways and yards, we are anticipating that there may be a few vehicles along Mill Lane in the vicinity of our property. We will first direct vehicles to the beach parking area since the event will take place after Labor Day and the beach will be closed for the season, allowing vehicles to park without beach stickers. If there is a need to provide some identifying tag, perhaps in the windshield of these vehicles, to help with traffic monitoring, we can certainly include that in our plans as well. Respectfully, Alicia and Charles Thompson
