Therefore, in accordance with the current Tidal Wetlands Land Use Regulations (6NYCRR Part 661) no permit is required. Be advised, no construction, sedimentation, or disturbance of any kind may take place seaward of the tidal wetlands jurisdictional boundary, as indicated above, without a permit. It is your responsibility to ensure that all precautions are taken to prevent any sedimentation or disturbance within Article 25 jurisdiction which may result from your project. Such precautions may include maintaining adequate work area between the tidal wetland jurisdictional boundary and your project (i.e. a 15'to 20~ wide construction area) or erecting a temporary fence, barrier, or hale bay berm. I do want to point out something that is incorrect on the permits. You are showing our mailing address as 166 New Norwalk Road, in New Canaan, Ct. That was a temporary dwelling for us while repair was going on at our house at 681 Weed Street, and was changed on Southold town records in 2005. As a matter of fact our tax bills come to our correct address from Southold, and our permit application also showed a mailing (home) address as 681 Weed Street. I would appreciate it if you would change the records you have in the building department in case you need to correspond with us. Thank you.
