Below you will find a list of all the events that have taken place at the Human Resource
Center (HRC) during the month of June 2011. The events have been divided into two
categories, which include Health Promotion and Presentations/Special Events.
Health Promotion
1. Senior Wellness Education Series Presentation "Mental Health and Aging" on
June 3rd.
2. Blood Pressure Clinic on June 7th.
3. Elder Law Advisory Day with Denise Marzano-Doty, Senior Attorney of the
Senior Citizen Law Program at Touro Law on June 15th.
4. Line Dancing classes on June 6th, 13th and 20th and 27th.
5. Caregivers Support Group on June 21st.
6. Hearing Screenings by Peconic ENT & Plastic Surgery on June 177
7. Hearing Aids Are Not The Only Answer" Part III" presentation by Dr. Prestano,
Director of Audiology at Peonic Ear, Nose, Throat and Plastic Surgery on June
23rd.
8. Veterans Health Care Event with VA Mobile Unit on June 28th.
Presentation/Special Events
1. "Senior-Senior Prom" with Mattituck Seniors and musical entertainment by Grant
Werner on June 3rd.
2. Karaoke Sing-a-Long on June 24th.
