THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION NO. 2011-363 WAS
ADOPTED AT THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE SOUTHOLD TOWN BOARD ON
MAY 10, 2011:
RESOLVED the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby grants permission and provide
police escort to Wounded Warrior Project to hold a bicycle ride on :Saturday~ June 25~ 2011.
The ride to commence at Mitchell Park, Greenport at 9 AM and proceed west on Route 25 to
Mattituck Fire Department, north on Love Lane to Route 48 and east to Moores Lane then bike
to the Greenport Fair Fields, ride will end at approximately 1:30 PM provided they provide
written approval from the Village of Greenport and file with the Town Clerk a One Million
Dollar Certificate of Insurance naming the Town of Southold as an additional insured and
contact Capt. Flatley upon receipt of the approval of this resolution to coordinate traffic control.
Support is for this year only, as the Southold Town Board continues to evaluate the use of town
roads. All town fees for this event shall be waived.

Dear Mr. Itonerkamp:
The Southold Town Board, at its regular meeting on May 10, 2011, adopted a
resolution granting permission to The Wounded Warrior Project to hold a bike
ride on Saturday, June 25, 2011. A certified copy of the resolution is enclosed.
The Town Board has waived all the town fees associated with this event.
However you are required to file with the Town Clerk written permission from
the Village of Greenport and a one million dollar Certificate of Insurance naming
the Town of Southold as additional insured. Be sure to contact Captain Flatley at
the Southold Police Department (631-765-2600) upon receipt of this letter to
coordinate traffic control. Good luck with your event.

in Afghanistan in Jnne of 2010 while serving our countO'. The proposed ride will sta~ in
Mitchell Park and go west along Route 25 to the Mattituck Fire Department. At the Mattituck
Fire Department the riders would head north on Love Lane to County Road 48, We would ride
east to Moores Lane, then turn south to the Greenpoint Fair Fields, We would need a police
escort. We will meet with Captain Flatley to discuss this. lie has told us this is an acceptable
day for the police to help. The ride would run From 9am to lpm Please let me know iFyou
