the transaction of business at 269 Guinea Woods Road, Roslyn
Heights,- New York, Grantor, and THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK,
acting by and through Thomas C. Jorling, their Commissioner of
Environmental Conservation, who has an office at 50 Wolf Road,
!ig-Qdl Albany, New York 12233-0001 , Grantees.
Grantor, in consideration of TWO HUNDRED SIXTY THOUSAND AND
N0/100 DOLLARS ($260,000.00) , paid by the Grantees, does hereby

grant and release to the Grantees, their successors and assigns,
forever,

ALL THAT CERTAIN PLOT, PIECE OR PARCEL OF LAND, situate, lying
and being at Orient, Town of Southold, County of Suffolk, State of
O New York, bounded and described as follows: .
Q BEGINNING at the southeasterly line of King Street, 100.63 feet
o southwesterly along said southeasterly line of King Street from the
westerly corner of lands now or formerly of Oysterponds Historical
>\ Society; from said point of beginning running through land now or
formerly of Margaret L. Strachan, two courses as follows: ( 1 )
parallel to the southwesterly boundary of said land of Oysterponds
O Historical Society and 100.00 feet parallel southwesterly therefrom
South 490 29' 40" East 325.0 feet; thence (2) parallel to said
rJ southwesterly line of King Street, South 34" 04' 40" West 100 feet,
O more or less to ordinary high water mark of Orient Harbor; thence
northwesterly along said high water mark 325 feet, more or less, to
said southeasterly line of King Street thence along said
southeasterly line, North 340 04' 40 seconds east 180 feet, more or
less to the point of beginning.
SUBJECT to whatever legal effect, if any, imposed by the
following provision contained in the deed to Grantor:
Lha U f "SUBJECT to the following covenants and restrictions hereby
imposed by the seller herein as follows: No building shall be
erected and maintained upon the premises herein except a single
one-family dwelling and garage. Said dwelling shall be, at
least, one and one-half stories in height with a hip or gabled
roof and no flat roof. These covenants and restrictions shall
run with the land for the benefit of the other lands of the
seller adjoining the subject premises."
TOGETHER with the appurtenances and all the estate, rights and
interest of the Grantor in and to the premises.
