1. Automobile Club of New York
re: Southold Town awarded the Pedestrian Safety
Citation for achieving a record of having no
pedestrian fatalities in the last two years.
2. Henry Souther Engineering Inc.
re: Appeal of Project Priority Score
Fishers Island #1149-02-0.
for FY84
3. N.Y.S. Department of State
re: Conference notice on the Waterfront Revitalization
Programs, September 21-22, 1983.
V. RESOLUTIONS:
Southold Town Board goes on record as opposing the
Transportation Infrastructure Renewal Bond Act of
1983, unless a specific list of projects is forth-
coming and Long Island receives a fair and equitable
share of the funding.
Southold Town Board goes on record as opposing any
increase in the Suffolk County Sales Tax currently
being proposed.
RESOLUTIONS:
3. Authorize Supervisor Pell to enter into a lease
agreement between the East Marion Fire District and
the Town for a parcel of land in the rear of the
firehouse together with the use of the driveway.
4. Southold Town Board authorizes Henry Souther Engineering,
Inc. to appeal the FY 1984 Draft Project priority
SCore assigned th the Fishers Island Wastewater
Facilities Project by the N.Y.S.D.E.C..
Introduction of State and County Officials and Representatives.

(a.) Southold Town Board authorizes Town Clerk to transmit
proposed local law to the Southold Town Planning Board
and Suffolk County Planning Commission for their reco-
mmendations and report on "Local Law In Relation to Area
and Yard Requirements of lots on Subdivision Maps approved
prior to May 20, 1983".

Southold Town Board authorizes Town Clerk to transmit
proposed local law to the Southold Town Planning Board
and Suffolk County Planning Commission for their reco-
mmendations and report on "Local Law to provide for relief
from the bulk requirements of the Zoning Code".

Southold Town Board approves bond resolution in the
amount of $612,000.00 for improvement of~ Southold Town
Landfill Site.

(b.)
Southold Town Board authorizes and directs Town Clerk
to publish the foregoing bond resolution in the Suffolk
Times and Long Island Traveler-Mattituck Watchman.
