Authorizing acquisition by purchase of certain land,
on the south side of Narrow River Road, Orient, as the

RESOLUTIONS:
18/ Accept the resignation of Betty Wells.
19/Allocate funds for the purchase of equipment for the
Southold Town Soccer Club and the North Fork Soccer
Club, Inc.
20~pprove "Cranberry Acres at Bayview" as being developed
in the cluster concept.
21/Authorize Supervisor William R. Pell II to execute an
agreement between the Town of Southold and the County
of Suffolk to amend the Agreement made the 24th day of
January, 1983 for the "Special Traffic Options Program
for Driving While Intoxicated.
22/Step I salary increase for Clerk-Typist Ilene Pfifferling
effective July 1, 1983.
23~ Grant permission to Southold Peconic Seniors Club to
engage two buses for the Nassau Coliseum on August 4, 1983.
24~/ Accept the bid of Twin Fork Fence, Inc.
25/Authorize a transfer from Year IX, Community Development
Block Grant Funds, Cutchogue Landfill Improvements, to
Mattituck Inlet Land Acquisition.
26/Authorize the Acquisition of Land at Mattituck Inlet from Suffolk County.
27~Authorize Supervisor William R. Pell III to execute a
contract of sale between H. M. Demarest & Sons, and
the Town of Southold for the purchase of a parcel.
28~ Appoint Mary Bourcet as a temporary employee in the
Accounting Department, effective July 22, 1983.

29~Authorize Town Clerk to advertise for bids for the
purchase of one bulldozer and one payloader for the
landfill site.
30/ Recommend to State D.O.T. appointment of David Spohn,
and Alternate Jay Wickham to Aviation Liaison Committee.
31/Approval of petition of Richard J. Cron for a change of zone from "A" to "M" in Cutchogue.
33/
Accept $400,000.00 Letter of Credit from Harold Reese, Jr.
as bond for roads and improvements in major subdivision
known as'Hill Crest Estates at Orient".
Set 8:15 P.M., August 9, 1983, Southold Town Hall, as
time and place for public hearing on petition of Lawrence
Bruno for a change of zone from "A" to "A" to "M-i".
Approval of Local Law on Portable Kerosene Heaters.
