N.Y.S., Department of Environmental Conservation
Re: Notice of Complete Application by Elizabeth Diefendorf
to create a 2 lot subdivision from a 3.5 acre plot. Written
Comments by July 15, 1983.
N.Y.S., Department of Environmental Conservation
Re: Notice of Complete Application by Murray Schlussel and
Marion Sadick to subdivide property from three lots to two
lots. Construct single dwelling on each lot and fill, with

LILCO request to increase its electric rates.
Town of Shelter Island Re: Resolution in opposition to the
local law denoted as "A LOCAL LAW establishing a Suffolk
County Barrens Watershed Preserve."

N.Y.S., Department of Transportation Re: Town of Southold will
continue to receive funds under the Consolidated Local Street
and Highway Improvement Program (CHIPS) during 1983.
4. N.Y.S., Department of Transportation Re: Town of Southold
Speed Limits in various parts of the Town.
IV. PUBLIC HEARING:
Public hearing at 3:00 P.M. on July 5, 1983 at the Southold
Town Hall on the wetlands application of Enconsultants, Inc
for Annette Golden and Nicholas Carnes to construct a stone
revetment using excavated material for backfill; Pipes Cove
Greenport.
Public Hearing at 8:00 P.M. on July 5, 1983 at the Southold
Town Hall to allow citizens to express views on local needs
to be met with Federal Community Development Block Grant
Funds.
RESOLUTIONS:
i/The Southold Town Board authorizes the allocation of $200.00
to the Landmark Preservation Commission for necessary
purchases.
2~/Trailer permit renewal by Oscar Goldin, Greenport.
3~Southold Town Board declares itself lead agency in the wetlands
application of The Land Use Co., for Fred J. Carcich to
construct adock, ramp and flo~t; East Creek, Cutchogue.

application of The Land Use Co., for Robert Patchell to
construct a timber bulkhead, backfill, and construct a dock,
ramp and float, Mattituck Creek, Mattituck.

Southold Town Hall on an application for a change of zone
from "A" Residential and Agricultural District to "M-l"
General Multiple Residence District ; Applicant Abigail

6~/The Southold Town Board requests the N.Y.S. Department of
Transportation to reduce the speed limit to 35 mph on Oaklawn
Avenue between Main Road and Pine Neck Road. -
7/Southold Town Board declares itself lead agency in the
wetlands application of Thomas and Jacqueline Occhiogrosso
to construct a single family dwelling, Corey Creek, Southold.
8~/Southold Town Board authorizes Chief Winters to attend the
1983 Training Conference of the N.Y.S. Assoc. of Chiefs of
Police at Rochester, N.Y.
9/Trailer permit renewal by Maddie Miles, Mattituck.
10/Southold Town Board grants permission to the Southold Tercen-
tenary Committee to use Town Roads for staging and conducting
"The Incredible Parade" to be held on October 8, 1983.

to file for a Federal and State Grant for the Planning, Design
and construction of Necessary Sewage Treatment works for the
Town of Southold.
12~/Trailer permit renewal by Bauer Farms, Inc., Peconic.
13/Authorize the hiring of three Inspectors of Election for the
Annual Election for a Commissioner of the Fishers Island
Ferry District.
14/Hire John Baglivi as a Southold Town Police Officer.
15F/Authorize feasibility study by Holzmacher~ McLendon and
Murrell, P.C. for a proposed Town Water District in the
area served by the Captain Kidd Water Company.
18~greement with Sidney Bowne Inc. to review plans and site
location for proposed resouroe recovery building at the
Landfill site.
17/Set 8:00 P.M., August 9, 1983 for a Public Hearing on proposed
"Local Law to amend Chapter 100 (Zoning) of the Southold Town
