IV. PUBLIC HEARING:
1. Public Hearing at 3:00 P.M. on June 7, 1983 at the
Southold Town Hall on the appeal of Thomas Occhiogrosso
of a wetlands violation. Corey Creek.
2. Public Hearing at 3:30 P.M. on June 7, 1983 at the
Southold Town Hall on "A LOCAL LAW to amend the Flood
Damage Prevention Law of the Town of Southold in relation
to the reference to the Flood Insurance rate map, and the
definition of terms."
RESOLUTIONS: ~
1/Decision on the wetlands application of Charles Zahra and
Alfred Grassklaus to construct a retaining wall at Eugene's
Creek, Cutchogue. Public Hearing was held on May 24, 1983.
2~/Environmental Assessment on the wetlands application of
Roger Stoutenburgh to construct a dock at Mudd Creek, Cutchogue.
3~/Environmental Assessment on the wetlands application of
Edward R. Yanke to construct a catwalk and floating dock
at Corey Creek, Southold.
4~outhold Town Board declares itself lead agency in the
wetlands application of Christine & Edward Viola to construct
a catwalk, Deep Hole Creek, Mattituck.

Block Grant Funds to hear citizen views on local needs.
8~Southold Town Board authorizes the Village of Green~ort to
install one fire hydrant~-I~a~.dVi~e~w~ane, Greenport.
9~nvironmental Assessment on the petition of Dalchet Corp.
for a change of zone from "A" Residential and Agricultural
District to "B-i" General Business District; Route 25,
Cutchogue.

10/Permission for the Mattituck Senior Citizens Club to hire one bus for their trip to Mystic Seaport Museum.
ll~Award the bid for supplying the Town of Southold with one wood chipper.
12/Award the bid for supplying the Town of Southold with materials,
labor and all necessary implements for the replacement of
sidewalks and curbing at various sites in the Town.
13/Authorize Supervisor Pell to file applications for a Federal
and State Aid for the Construction of the sewage treatment
works on Fishers Island.
14~The Southold Town Board accepts and approves the Fishers Island
Facilities Plan. Public Hearing was held on May 14, 1982.
15/Appointment of a five member committee to the Southold Town
Water Advisory Committee.
16/Permission is granted for the Mattituck Chamber of Commerce
to use Love Lane and the Parking lot for their Annual
Mattituck Sale Day.
17w/Permission is granted to the Griswold-Terry-Glover Post 803,
American Legion to hold their Parade on June 11, 1983.
18~. Request by the Suffolk County American Legion to place
"American POW's are alice in Southeast Asia" bumper
stickers on all Southold Town vehicles.
~. Request that the Town of Southold fly or display a M.I.A.
P.O.W. flag at the Southold Town Hall.
19~Appointment to the Southold Town Assessment Review Board.
20./Authorize Supervisor Pell to enter into an agreement with John Calvin as part-time Bay Constable, Fishers Island.
21/Appoint Stephen Malinowski as Assistant Bay Constable, Fishers Island.
22/Authorize the Town Clerk to transmit a proposed Local Law,
to amend Chapter 100 in relation to Area and Yard R~gulations,
to the Southold Town Planning Board and the Suffolk County
Planning Department.
23~The Southold Town Board adopts a resolution to provide for
a four year term of office for the Town Trustees and that
it be submitted to appear on the ballot on Nov. 8, 1983
for approval by the qualified voters of the Town of Southold.

24~Authorize the Fishers Island Ferry District Board of Commissioners
to hire three individuals to operate the movie theater during
the summer months.
25~Southold Town Board declares itself lead agency in the
petition of Brecknock Associates for a change of zone from
"A" Residential and Agricultural to "M" Light Multiple
Residence District, Greenport.
26JAuthorize the Town Clerk to transmit the petition for change
of zone by Brecknock Associates to the Southold Town Planning
Board.
27V/Authorize Supervisor Pell to enter into an agreement with
the firm of Hawkins, Webb, and Jaeger to conduct a study
for the replacement of the roof on the Peconic Senior/Youth
Center.
