to authorizing the issuance of Wetland Permits by the
Board of Trustees."

RESOLUTIONS:
5~uthorize and direct the Town Clerk to place a public
notice in The Long Island Traveler Watchman and the Suffolk
Times notifying the public that the Town of Southold's
Community Development Agency has received contract authority
from the U.S. Depa'~tment of Housing and Urban Development
to subsidze the rents of thirty-five (35) eligible families
by way of Section 8 existing program, which will be adminis-
tered by the Greenport Housing Alliance, Inc., as a sub-
grantee for the Town of Southold.
6F/ Trailer renewal for Maddie Miles, Mattituck.
7~Accept the proposal of Pirates Cove Marine, Fishers Island
to paint, place in the spring, remove in the fall and store,
the Town owned channel markers at Fishers Island.
8~/ Commend and applaud the Mattituck High School for achieving,
through dedication and energetic enthusiasm, the coveted
Long Island High School of the Year for Community Service
Award.
9/Set a Public Hearing on July 17, 1984, Southold Town Hall,

Alvah Jr., Bruce and Allen Goldsmith for permission to
construct bulkhead. Hobart Road, at Town Creek, Southold.
13/Costello Marine Contracting Corp., on behalf of Alvah Jr.,
Bruce and Allen Goldsmith, be GRANTED/DENIED permission
under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the
Town of Southold to construct bulkhead. Southold.
14~Environmental assessment of the wetlands application of
Edward Quintieri and Richard Pulcini to construct bulkhead

15~Edward Quintieri and Richard Pulcini be GRANTED/DENIED
permission to construct bulkhead at property located

16/Southold Town Board declares itself lead agency in
regard to the State Environmental Quality Review Act
in the matter of the petition of Reynold F. Blum for
a change of zone. Cutchogue.
17/Direct the Town Clerk to transmit petition received from
Reynold F. Blum for a Change of Zone, Cutchogue to the
SOuthold Town Planning Board requesting their recommenda-
tions relative to said petition.
18/Southold Town Board allocates funds from Joint Youth Account
to pay expenses incurred by the Douglas Moore Concert
Committee for the performance to be held on August 11, 1984 .

19~//Southold To%n~ Board hereby goes on record as opposing the
use of local roads as access routes for tandem trailer rigs.
20~'/Southold Town Board opposes the bill HR 4103 which would
unconscionably remove from local government the power to
regulate its streets and highways and television cable
franchises.

this date, to perform secretarial services for the Southold

22~/Set Public Hearings on June 19, 1984 at Southold Town
Hall on the following wetland applications:
3:32 p.m. - Application of Enconsultants, Inc. on
behalf of Walter Trappe for permission
to construct dock, catwalk, ramp and
float secured by two pilings. Corey
Creek. Southold.
3:35 p.m. - Application of George Sweeney to maintenance
dredge an existing boat slip and install timber
bulkhead, Haywater Cove. Cutchogue.
3:37 p.m. - Application of Costello Marine Contracting
on behalf of James B. Ford, for permission to
construct bulkhead directly in front of exist-
ing bulkhead. Town Creek, Southold.
Southold Town Board hereby authorizes and directs Supervisor
Francis J. Murphy to execute a contract between the Suffolk
County Office for the Aging and the Town of Southold for
the Home Aide Program, for the period April 1, 1984 through
March 31, 1985.
24~ Southold Town Board hereby authorizes and directs Supervisor
Francis J. Murphy to execute a lease between the Fishers
Island Ferry District and the Town of Southold for the lease
of one room in the Fishers Island Community Theatre for the
use of the Southold Town Justice on Fishers Island.
25/Southold Town Board hereby authorizes Account Clerks Joan
Richter and Mary Bourcet to attend a seminar on "Munis
for New York State" to be held on July 18, 1984 at the
Colonie Hill, Hauppauge.

Authorize budget amendments to the Community Development

Establish a Petty Cash fund to be used by the Gate
Attendants at the Southold Town Landfill Site.

relation to authorizing the issuance of Wetland Permits

at the Southold Town Landfill Site.

between Main Bayview Road and North Bayview Road,
Southold, New York as Cedar Drive.
35~/Deposit money with the Town, in lieu of reservation
of land for a park and playground in the major sub-
division know as "Constantine Georgiopoulos at
Southold."
36~,/Authorize and direct Supervisor Francis J. Murphy to
place a legal notice in The Suffolk Times and the Long
Island Traveler-Watchman notifying the public that the
last day for acceptance of offers for sale of development
rights to the Town of Southold from farmland owners within
the Town is July 2, 1984 until 10:00 a.m.

Long Island Traveler-Watchman seeking proposal for
appraisal services to appraise parcels fo land offered
to the Town under the Southold Town Acquisition of

38/Adoption of the order relative to increasing maximum
amount proposed to be expended for improvements in the
Southold Wastewater Disposal District.
39~Authorize and direct Supervisor Francis J. Murphy to
enter into a contract with Ferran Concrete Co., Inc. for
work under Contract No. 1 - General Construction and
Mechanical Work, for the Scavenger Wastewater Treatment
Facility.

enter into a contract with James McCullaugh Co.,
for the work under Contract No. 3 - Plumbing, for
the Scavenger Waste Treatment Facility.
