the position of Sanitation Supervisor.
2/The Southold Town Board hereby makes an appointment

Southold Town's representative to the Suffolk County
Solar Enerqy Commission.
3~The Southold Town Board hereby creates the position of
Ordinance Inspector for the Town of Southold.
4/The Southo!d Town Board declares itslef lead agency in
the petition of Horton Construction Co. for a change of
zone from "A" Residential and Agricultural District to
"B-!" General Business District, Cox's Lane, Cutchogue.
5~The Southo!d Town Board hereby directs the Town Clerk
to transmit the petition for a change of zone by

9~ The Southold Town Board hereby goes on record congratulating
John H. Robinson, Jr. on achieving the highest rank in
scouting - Eagle Scout.
10~/ The Southold~T~wn-BOard hereby a~th~'izes the Town Clerk
to advertise for bids for the construction of a new
concrete block building, with slabs, at the Southold Town
Dog Pound, Peconic.
l!~superVisor Murphy is authorized to execute an agreement
between the Town of Southold, the County of Suffolk and
Citibank , under the Consortium Home Improvement Progra!~'.~
(CHIP) to provide a guaranteed loan program for home
improvement loans.
12/Supervisor Murphy is authorized to execute an agreement
between the Town of Southold., the County of Suffolk and
European American Bank, under the Consortium Home
Improvement Program (CHIP) to provide home improvement
loans to homeowners and commercial loans to businesses.
13/The Southo!d Town Board hereby authorizes Supervisor Murphy
Commissioner of Public Works Dean to attend the New England
Regional Workshop on Composting and Land Application at
Boston,Mass.
14/The Southold Town Board declares itslef lead agency in
the wetlands application of John G. Scott, III to construct
a floating Dock , Richmond Creek, Peconic.
15~/Trai!er permit renewal by Frank J. McBride, Oregon Road,
Cutchogue.
16/ The Southold Town Board declares itslef lead agency in
the petition of Edward J.Nalbantian and Charles A. Nalban-
tian for relief from the Bulk requirements of the Zoning
Code of the Town of Southold, Oregon Heights, Mattituck.
17/The Southold Town Board directs the Town Clerk to
transmit the petition of of Edward J. Nalbantian and
Charles A. Nalbantian, requesting relief from the Bulk
requirements of the Zoning Code, to the Southold Town
Planning Board and the Suffolk County Department of Planning.

V. RESOLUTION:
18/ The Southold Town Board hereby authorizes the Board
of Commissioners of the Fishers Island Ferry District
to accept the bid for drydocking the M/V Munnatatawket.
19~/ The Southold Town Board hereby authorizes the Board of
Commissioners of theFishers Island Ferry District to
accept the bid for two Caterpillar diesel engines equipped
with twi~ disc transmissions.

the operation of Elizabeth Airport.
21/The Southold Town Board hereby authorizes the Board of
Commissioners of the_~shers Island Ferry District to
apply to the Interstate Commerce Commission to amend
its Commodity Tariff schedule to allow for the carriage
of prescription drugs at no charge to the consignee.
22/The Southold Town Board authorizes the transfer of funds
in the Fishers Island Ferry District Budget.
23/The Southold Town Board requests the enactment of Senate Bill
No. S.8148, "AN ACT to allow persons in public employment
on or before August 16, 1973 or their executor, administrator
or personal representative who did not file a membership-
application with the NYS employees' retirment system to
file a request for retroactive membership with the State
Comptroller."

Bill No. A.9673 (Companion bill of S.8148)
24~/The Southold Town Board requests the enactment of Senate
Bill No. S.5567 "AN ACT in relation to the zoning and
planning powers of towns and villages within the county
of Suffolk."
24a/The Southold Town Board requests the enactment of Assembly
Bill No. A.6665 (Camanion bill of S.5567)
25~The Southold Town Board authorizes Supervisor Murphy to
travel to Albany, New York for the purpose of meeting
with NYS Legislators and the Governor's Office to request
an increase in the State Revenue Sharinq Program for Towns.

the wetlands application of John L. Braider by Latham Sand
& Gravel, Inc., Gull Pond, Greenport.

27~The Southold Town Board hereby goes on record congratulating
the Greek Community of the Town of Southold on the celebration
of Greek Independance Day, March 25, 1984.
28/Trailer permit application by Anne and Thomas Lowry, Second
and Jackson Streets, New Suffolk.
29~The Southold Town Board authorizes the advance of $578 to the Community Development Year X.
30~The Southold Town Board hereby approves the amount of $325,000
for a performance bond for the subdivision known as Highpoint
at East Marion, Section II.
31JGrant relief from the Bulk requirements of the Zoning Code
on the petition of Robert G. Norkus and Aldona Norkus.
32~The Sou%hold Town Board authorizes Supervisor Murphy to
send a letter to NYS DEC requesting their approval for
increases in the levels of Federal and State funds for the
Southold Scavanger Waste Project.
33~The Southold Town Board authorizes H2M to communicate and
secure bids for the Southold Scavanger Waste Project.
