Town Board at the Southold Town Hall on Tuesday, February 14,

!. At 3:32 P.M. on the wetlands aDplication of Russel B. Case
to remove phragmites and plant grass seed; Cases La_ne,
Cutchogue.
At 3:35 P.M. on the wetlands application of Pirates Cove
Marine, Inc. to remove existing marine railway, construct
rock bulkhead, and backfill with fill ;~Inner Bay of
West Harbor, Fishers Island.
At 3:37 P.M. on the wetlands application of Enconsul%ants,
Inc. for Lewis Edson to construct a ~%imber dock, elevated
catwalk, hinged ramp and float secured by two piliangs;
Goose Creek, Southold.
At 7:50 P.M. on the petition of Robert C. Norkus and
Aldona Norkus for relief from the Bulk requirements of
the Zoning Code; property off Orchard Lane, Southold.
At 7:55 P.M. on the petition of Arthur P. Simon for
relief from the Bulk requirements of the Zoning Code;
property on the north side of Middle Road (C.R. 48)
Peconic.
At 8:00 P.M. on the proposal of Dalchet Corporation to
amend the Zoning Code, by changing from "A" Residential

RESOLUTIONS:
1~/ The Southold Town Board hereby authorizes the Planning
Board to consider the property of Laurel Estates to be
developed in the cluster concept.
2/Tke Southold Town Board hereby authorizes the Planning
Board to consider the property of James W. Dawson to
be developed in the cluster concept.
3~The Southold Town Board allocates
$750.OO
for
a
Handicapped Swimming Program.
4~ The Southold Town Board authorizes amendments to the
Community Development Program Year VIII and IX.
5/The Southold Town Board accepts the bid for supplying
one 1984 Plymouth Gran Fury, bid price includes trade-ins.
6/ The Southold Town Board accepts the bid to perform the
necessary labor operations to remove and replace the
transmission on the Fiat-Allis.
7u/ The Southold Town Board accepts the bid for supplying
one new one-ton truck.
8J The Southold Town Board accepts the bid for supplying
one new one-ton truck cab & chassis.
Supervisor Murphy is authorized to execute a contract
between the Town of Southold and the N.Y.S, Department
of Environmental Conservation, Bureau of Shellfisheries,
for the 1984 Shellfish Transplant Project.
].O/The Southold Town Board declares itslf lead agency in
the wetlands application of Joseph Fischetti to install
bulkhead, dock, ramp and three floating docks; Arshamo-
maque Pond, Southold.
ll/The Southold Town Board sets a Public Hearing at 3:30 P.M.
on February 28, 1984 at the Southold Town Hall on "A
LOCAL LAW in relation to authorizing the issuance of
appearance tickets by Building Inspectors"
12~ Supervisor Murphy and the Town Clerk are authorized to
execute any and all documents for the purpose of
acquisition of real property, Fishers Island.
(Mrs. Sara Ridgeway McLean donated 170 shares of
Lewes Cos.)
13 Dervisor Murphy is authorized to execute a contract
between the Town of Southold and the Board of Commissioners
of the Fishers Island Ferry District for the lease of
one office room in the Fishers Island Firehouse.

RESOLUTIONS:
14~The Southold Town Board creates a new committe to be
known as the "Transportation Committee"
14a/SuDervisor Murphy appoints Councilmen Stoutenburgh and
Townsend to the Transportation Committee.
15/The Southold Town Board appoints John C. Harrison an
Assistant Inspector under the Southold Town Fire Code.
16~he Southold Town Board declares itslf lead agency in
the wetlands application of Helen Case to place broken
concrete from New Suffolk Avenue Bridge on property;
West Creek, Cutchogue.
17/The Southold Town Board approves the amount of
$700,000 for a bond for roads and improvements in
the subdivision known as "The Cove Beach" at East
Marion.
18~The Southold Town Board approves the amount of
$250,000 for a bond for roads and improvements in
the subdivision known as "Homestead Acres" at
~reenoort.
19~The Southold Town Boar appoints a member o the
Southold Town Board of Assessment Review for a five
year term.
20~The Southold Town Board appoints to the position of
Maintenance Mechanic III
21~The Southold Town Boardproclaims the week of February 12-18 as VOCATIONAL EDUCATION WEEK.
22/Supervisor Murphy and the Town Clerk are authorized
to execute all required documents for the purpose
of acquisition of real property at Fishers Island.
(Catherine DuPont has donated 137 shares of DuPont
stock).
23/The Southold Town Board authorizes the Southold Senior
Citizens Club, Inc. to hire one bus for their trip to
the Flower Show at Farmingdale on March 7, 1984.
24~The Southold Town Board amenda their resolution NO. 19
of January 31, 1984 to authorize the expenditure of
$342,07 from Planning Board Contractual Account for
postage for a town-wide mailing on the Master Plan
Update.

RESOLUTIONS:
25~The Southold Town Board authorizes the Board of Commissioners
of the Fishers Island Ferry District to engage the services
of Automatic Data Processing to process the Ferry District's
payrolls.
26/The Southold Town Board rescinds their resolution No. 45
of January 17, 1984 to purchase a used Ford Truck
Chassis from Randall's Used Trucks.
27JThe Southold Town Board authorizes Superintendent of
Highways Dean to purchase one used 1965 used Ford Truck
cab and chassis from H.M. Demarest & Sons.
281~ Authorize the Suffolk County Community Development Office to
submit, on behalf of the Town of Southold, a proposal in the Rental
Rehabilitation Program Demonstration Project.
29V/Accept Performance Bond in the amount of $3~,0, 000. 00 submitted by

a dog control officer to administer and enforce such law, and
the provisions of Article 7 of the Agricultural & Markets Law
within the Incorporated Village of Greenport, and to utilize
Southold's dog pound or shelter to house dogs seized in Greenport,
and to utilize the services of the League to care for such dogs
at said shelter.
39/Accept proposal of Arthur P. Foster, Custom Cesspools, to install two new cesspools at the Southold Town Dog Pound.
