14~ Appoint Addie Pace to the position of Clerk at the
Southold Town Police Headquarters, effective September
16, 1985.
15~/Amend Resolution No. 31, adopted on August 27, 1985.
16~Allocate funds from the Community Development Year 11,
for the Mattituck High School Human Understanding and
Growth Seminars (HUGS).
17z/ Authorize and direct Supervisor Francis J. Murphy to
request the current Clerk-Typist Certification Eligibles.
List from Suffolk County Department of Civil Service to
fill vacant Clerk-Typist position in the Building Department.
18JExtend employment of Suzanne Walden, part-time Clerk-Typist.
19~stablish a policy of establishing water districts in the
Town to accept the dedication, without cost, of community
water supply systems provided that this board determines
that the same is feasible and in the public interest.
2~/Authorize and direct 'Supervisor Francis J. Murphy to execute
the agreement between the Civil Service Employees Associa-
tion and the Town of Southold, which agreement provides
for Welfare Fund benefits to CSEA employees of the Town of
Southold for the period from September 1, 1985 to December 1,
1985.
21/Authorize and direct Supervisor Francis J. Murphy to execute
a Grant Amendment/Decrease in the matter of the Town of
Southold, Fishers Island Sewer District.
22/Authorize and direct Supervisor Francis J. Murphy to exeCute
Addendum No. 4 to contract of April 11, 1978 for Professional
Engineer Services, Sewage Collection, Treatment, and
Disposal, between the Town of Southold and Henry Souther
Engineering, Inc.

25/ Authorize Historian Magdaline Goodrich to attend the
"Family Histor Research in the United States" seminars,
sponsored by the Suffolk County Historical Society,
Riverhead, NY on September 21, 28, October 12, 26,
November 2, 9, 23, 1985.
26/Authorize and direct Supervisor Francis J. Murphy to
execute a contract between the Society for the Pre-
servation of Long Island Antiquities and the Town
of Southold to compile an inventory of historic sites
and landmarks in the western end of Southold Town.

Brentwood to accomplish the site and building founda-
tion work - Contract 1985-1 - at the Cross Sound Ferry
Services, In~., Orient.
Appoint Janet E. Staples as a part-time Clerk Typist
in the Accounting Department effective September 11, 1985.
29/Southold Town Board, acting upon a "Notice to-Release
Withheld Money" from the NYS Department of Labor, for
moneys, which have been witheld by the Town of Southold
from payment to Stonybrook Construction Corp.
30~/ Authorize the Board of Commissioners of the Fishers Island
Ferry District to employ Christopher L. Ewing, as a part-
time Deckhand.
31. Accept bid for supplying the Town with one (1) Articulated
Payloader.
32/ Allocate funds from Special Recreational Facilites Account
for the purchase of four (4) soccer balls for the Southold

37~/~Town Board sets 3:35 P.M., Tuesday, September 24, 1985, Southold
Town Hall, for public hearing on "A Local Law in relation to the regulation
of Floating Homes in the Town of Southold".
38~Town Board creates the position of Clerk-Typist in the Assessor's Office
and authorizes the Supervisor to request the current Clerk-Typist Certification
of Eligibles List from the Suffolk County Department of Civil Service.
39jTown Board authorizes Supervisor to execute a license agreement with the
Fishers Island Sewer District for the use of 3.55 acres Io~ated on the south
side of Whistler Avenue, Fishers Island, for the construction thereon of a
Wastewater Disposal Facility.
