1/Encourage a national solution to prevent contaminated
shellfish from'entering the market.
2/ Grant permission to World Vision to conduct "The Long
Island Lifeline - Grain of Hope for Africa," haman chain
augmented by joggers, from Orient Point to the Southold
Town line.

Grant permission for the Southold Senior Citizens Club, Inc.
to engage one (1) bus, to Southstreet Seaport on june 6, 1985.
Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to advertise for resumes
for the position of Planning Assistant for the summer season
to assist the Southold Town Planning Board.
5/Proclam the week of May 12 - 18, 1985 as NATIONAL SENIOR
CENTER WEEK.
6~Appoint Richard Diehl as Coordinator of Veterans' Affairs
for the Town of Southold.
7/Authorize and direct Supervisor Francis J. Murphy to execute
an agreement between the County of Suffolk, Office for the
Aging, Human Resources Division, and the Town for the opera-
tion of the Home Aide Program.
8/Authorize Pirates Cove Marine to paint, equip with chain and
place two additional morring markers at West Harbor, Fishers
Island.
9/Authorize and direct Supervisor Murphy to initial and date

13F/Grant permission to Betty Wells, Martin Garrell and
Robert Hood, Conservation Advisory Council members,
to attend a meeting of the Citizens Advisory Committee.
14~/ Authorize and direct Supervisor Francis J. Murphy to
execute a contract between the County of Suffolk and
the Town covering work to be conducted by the Town in
conjunction with the study entitled "Hard Clam Manage-
ment Plan for Suffolk County Water,"
15~/Authorize the Board of Commissioners of the Fishers
Island Ferry District to accept the bid and enter into
a contract with Whaling City Dredge & Dock Corp., Groton
Conn. for the construction of a new docking facility at
New London, Conn..
16/Authorize the Board of Commissioners of the Fishers Island
Garbage and Refuse District to enter into a Lease Agreement
with Russell Heath, for a parcel of land. · '~

presenting her with the 1985 DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD.
Town Board elects to provide the benefits of Section 41, subdivision J
of the Retirement and Social Security Law for eligible employees.
Authorize' the Supervisor to execute agreement with the County for
the Year XI Community Development and Housing Assistance Program.

Mattituck, to use Town roads for Memorial Day Parade, May 27, 1985.
