on Tuesday, February 26, 1985 on a proposed Local Law
entitled, "A Local Low in relation to electing a
retirement incentive program as authorized by Chapter
665, Laws of 1984, for eligible employees of the Town
of Southold."
3:35 P.M. at Southold Town Hall, Main Road, Southold
on Tuesday, February 26, 1985 in the matter of amend-
ment of the current Town Budget relative to the use
of Federal Revenue Sharing Funds.
RESOLUTIONS :
1/Authorize and direct Supervisor Francis J. Murphy to
execute a contract between the U.S. Department of
Housing and Urban Development and the Town of Southold
for a Section 8 Annual Contribution for the 12th month
period ending June 1985.

for the purchase of one (1) New 1985 Vehicle for the

10~/Authorize the Town Clerk to advertise for bids for the
purchase and application of 150,000 gallons of Asphalt
Road materials for Highway Department.
ll ff Authorize the Town Clerk to request the NYS Department of
Transportation to conduct a speed survey on Elijah's Lane,
Mattituck, from N.Y.S. Route 25 to the Railroad tracks, and
on Manhasset Avenue, Greenport, from N.Y.S. Route 25 to
its %erminus at the Norman E. Klipp Marine Park.
12/Increase the estimated revenues in the 1984 Nutrition Program
Budget.
13/Authorize two Building Inspectors to attend the Tenth Annual
Building Officials Educational Conference at Rochester, NY
on April 22, 23, 24, 1985.
14~ireCt the Town Clerk to forward a copy of resolution entitled
"AN ACT authorizing the Town of Southold, to establish a
land acquisition fund and also authorizing said Town to
impose a real property transfer tax with revenues from said
tax to be deposited in the land acquisition fund,", to the
Town's State Legislators as well as the Town Boards of
East Hampton, Southampton, Shelter Island, and Riverhead,
and Governor Cuomo.

RESOLUTIONS:
16~Call upon Governor Cuomo and the NYC Legislature to
immediately enact a statewide allocation system that
will distribute the State's low cost power resources
to all New York's Municipal Electric Utilities, Co-
operatives and Distribution Agencies so that all of
New York's residents can share the benefits of the
the State's power on an equal basis.
17~Rescind Resolution No. 21, adopted February 5, 1985.
18~ Authorize the Suffolk County Department of Public Works to
prepare and submit the Preapplication for Federal Assistance,
Airport Improvement Program, to the NYS Deptment of Trans-
portation, Federal Aviation Administration, on behalf of
the Town, for a grant to slurry seal and repaint the run-
ways at Elizabeth Airport, Fishers Island, NY.

Budget.
