RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby establishes
the policy that at scheduled Town Board Meetings the public attending shall be
allowed five (5) minutes to address the Town Board in relation to agenda resolutions
prior to their enactment and the public will also be given time, at the conclusion of
the regularly scheduled business agenda, to address the Board on any given topic. -
June 3, 1986.

Approval of the Minutes of the October 20, 1987 Town Board Meeting and
the October 23, 1987 Special Meeting.

PUBLIC HEARINGS:
1. 3:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. on November 5, 1987 on the Preliminary Budget
for the year 1988.
2. 7:55 P.M. on November Ss 1987 on the determination of need and location
for the acquisition of a parcel of land situated on Horton Lane, Southold
pursuant to the provisions of Eminent Domain.
RESOLUTIONS:
l~'~uthorize the Town Clerk to advertise for bids for the purchase of one
sub-compact automobile for the Southold Town Hall.

2~/Authorize Supervisor /Vlurphy to enter into a lease agreement for the a
building located on Route 25, Peconic for the storage of-machinery and
equipment.

V. RESOLUTIONS:
3t/'Southold Town Board declares itself lead agency in the petition of Richard
Cart and Joseph A. Wanat for a change of zone from "A" Residential
and Agricultural to "M" Light Multiple Residence; Bergen Ave, Mattituck.
4~/Engage the services of D. Emilita to review the Long Environmental Assess-
ment Form on the Change of Zone Petition of Cart and Wanat.
5~'/Authorize the Town Clerk to transmit the petition for change of zone
of Cart and Wanat to the Southold Planning Board and the Suffolk County
Planning Board.
6a//Appoint James A. Strickland as a part-time Gate Attendant at the Landfill.
7a,~pprove advance payment ~or the Nov. 9th basketball clinic.
8g/Authorize the Town Clerk to give Public Notice that proposed amendments
to the Community Development Years 12/13 Program Budgets will be considered
