RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Southold
hereby establishes the policy that at scheduled Town Board Meetings
the public attending shall be allowed five (5) minutes to address
the Town Board in' relation to agenda resolutions prior to their
enactment and the public'will also be given time, at the con-
clusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda, to address
the Board on any given topic. June 3, 1986

New York State Department of Environmental Conservation notice
of application for new bulkhead and repair to existing, located
on Sterling Basin off Robinson Rd. Greenport, the purpose is
to control erosion and provide dockage. Comments nollater
than April 17, 1987. Applicant David Nertz
NYSDEC notice of application to construct a single family
dwelling, garage and associated sanitary system 70' and
120' respectively from Marion Lake. Comments no later

COMMUNICATIONS:
The State Assembly of New York letter from
Assemblyman Joseph Sawicki to Mr. Peter VanVolkenburgh
Chief of Marine Shellfishing, NYSDEC, requesting
the Town be allowed to keep the creeks (Mattituck
Creek and Mill Creek) open longer than the April 1st
deadline.
PUBLIC HEARINGS:
Public Hearing to be held at 8:00 P.M. on the 7th
day of April at the Southold Town Hall in regards to ..
the Acquisition of Developmeqt Rights in Agriculural
Lands.
RESOLUTIONS:
l J Tribute to Sargeant Barney P. Harris who retired from
public service on March 31, 1987, to be entered in
the permanent records of Southold Town.
The Town Board requests the NYS Department of Trans-
portation to conduct a study to determine the need
for a "No Parking" sign on the north side of Route 25
in Peconic.
The Town Board accepts the resignation of Jane Rousseau,
Clerk/Typist, effective July 1, 1986.
The Town Board of Southold declares itself lead agency
in the matter of the petition of Burt Lewis for a
change of zone from"A" to "B" on certain property
located on the north side of Route 25, east. of
Harbor Lane, Southold.
The Town Board hereby engages the services of David
Emilita to review the Long Environmental Form with
respect 'to the petition of Burt Lewis for Change of
Zone.
Authorizes the Town Clerk to transmit the petition of
Burr Lewis to the Southold Planning Board and the
Suffolk County Department of Planning in accordance
with the Southold Town Cjode and the Suffolk County
Charter.
7~e Town Board accepts the Irrevocable Letter of Credit
No. 119 as bond for ro~ds, water systems and improve-
ments in the major subdivision of Harbor View, Mattituck.

RESQLUTIONS:
8~/ The Town Board accepts the proposal of'Pirates Cove-
Marine, Fishers Island to refurbish 16 marker bouys
located West Harbor, Fishers Island at locations
designated by the Harbormaster.
9JGrant permission to Superintendent Raymond Jacobs to
perform tree removal and trimming on the Peconic Land
Trust property. (formerly Hartranft).

10/Authorize the issuance of a refund to Mary McGuire
which represents an overpayment to the Building
Department.
ll '~/The Town Board of Southold u~ges the New York State
Assembly to adopt the New York State Assembly proposed
Federal Revenue Sharing P.rogram.
12/The Town Board of Southold goes on record in opposi-
tion to Senate Bill 1880 and Assembly Bill 2690,
entitled "AN ACT to amend the Environmental Conser-
vation Law".
13~/Grant a renewal for a single family house trailer
permit to Ange and Barbara Boursiquot, located in
Mattituck.

Grant a renewal for a single family house trailer
permit to George McCarthy for a period of six months
located at Private Road, off Main Road, Laurel.
Pursuant to Article 8 of the Environmental Conserva-
tion Law State Environmental Quality Review and
6NYCRR Part 617, and Chapter 44 of the Code of the
Town of Southold, notice is hereby given that it
has been determined that the project notice for
Change of Zone made by Herbert Mandel will not have
significant effect on the environment.
Determination on the application of Calabrese and
Pugliese for a Change of Zone from "A" Residential
and Agricultural District to "B" Light Business
District.
Accept the performance bond from Greenport Development
Corporation for the bluff plantings for the condominium
proposal to be known as "The Breakers at Lands End".
