Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. RESOLUTIONS and APPOINTMENTS 1. (a) Supervisor appoints Deputy Supervisor. (b) Set salary of Deputy Supervisor. 2. Designate depositories and amounts of securities. 3. Authorize Supervisor to invest moneys not needed for immediate expenditure. 4. Authorize facsimile signature for Supervisor. 5. (a) Designate Official Newspaper - effective February 1, 1989. (b) Designate Additional Newspaper - effective February 1, 1989. 6. Establish Petty Cash Funds for 1989. 7. (a) Authorize Superintendent of Highways to purchase equipment. (b) Authorize Commissioner of Public Works to purchase equipment. Appoint Delegate and Alternate Delegate to Association of Towns. Set allowance for Association of Towns. Set allowance for use of employee's personal vehicle for Town business. Authorize services of Elaine Kaldor, P.C. to audit books of Town officials for fiscal year 1988. Set salaries of elected officials. 9. 12. Set salaries of members of the Planning Board and Board of Appeals. Set salary of Town Historian. Set compensation for members of the Conservation Advisory Council. Appoint Secretary for the Conservation Advisory Council and Water Advisory Committee and set salary. 22. Appoint Secretary for the Farmland Preservation Committee and Open Space Committee and set salary. 23. Set compensation for members of the Board of Assessment Review. 24. Set salaries of appointed part-time employees. 25. Approve payment of 1989 Suffolk County and New York State Association dues for elected officials. 26. (a) Supervisor appointed Emergency Preparedness Coordinator. (b) Supervisor appoints Deputy Emergency Preparedness Coordinator. (c) Supervisor appoints Deputy Emergency Preparedness Coordinator for Fishers Island. (d) Supervisor appoints Fire Coordinator for Disaster Preparedness. 27. Advance funds to the following programs: Nutrition, Home Aide, Community Development, Youth Services, Senior Adult Day Care, Brief Respite, Supple- mental Nutrition Assistance, Expanded In Home Services. 28. Appoint Attendance Offices for New Suffolk and Laurel Schools. 29. (a) Appoint John Clavin as Harbermaster for Fishers Island. (b) Appoint John Clavin as part-time Bay Constable for Fishers Island, and authorize execution of agreement. (c) Appoint Thomas Doherty, Jr. as Assistant Bay Constable for Fishers Island and authorize execution of agreement. 30. Establish 1989 Labor Management Committee. 31. Appoint and set salary of Mary Ann Fleischman. 32. Appoint Deputy Receiver of Taxes for 1989. 33. Supervisor appoints Town Board Standing Committees for 1989.
