POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meetings, the public attending
shall be allowed five (5) minutes to address the Town Board in relation to
agenda resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will also be given
time, at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda, to
address the Board on any given topic.

II. PUBLIC NOTICES:
New York State DEC Notice of Complete Application. Fishers Island
Water Works Corporation*s proposal to convert a test well to a water
supply well, included will be construction of a 16' x 23* chemical
treatment plant. Written comments no later than September 14, 1990.
New York State DEC Notice of Complete Application. US Dept. of
Agriculture, Plum Island proposal to replace bulkhead, remove existing
pier, replace with pile dock, dredge and install mooring piles at
Orient Point Harbor. Written comments no later than September 14,
1990.
US Army Corps of Engineers extension of deadline for submitting
comments on the technical aspects of the Federal Manual fol'

POLICY: Individuals are allowed a maximum of ten (10) minutes to

V. RESOLUTIONS:
l~/Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to advertise for bids for the
replacement of the caps on the Caterpillar compactor.
2~/Grant permission for a trailer permit renewal for a period of six
months to Anthony J. Marshall, President of Bouton Services.
3~/Positive Declaration in the matter of Thomas Thompson Change of Zone
petition.
4~/Appoint School Crossing Guard for the Depot Lane and Route 25 post,
effective August 28, 1990.
5~/ Authorize 1990 Budget modification to the General Fund-Whole Town.
6/Authorize check payable to Brookhaven YMCA for a one-year
membership.
7F/ Authorize and direct Supervisor to execute a lease agreement between
Pudge Corp and Town of Southold for the police booth for a term of
one year, at a fee of $1.00.
8,P~Grant Highway Department employee a leave of absence for medical
reasons.
9~/Authorize and direct Town Clerk to advertise for bids for the
purchase of one used dump truck for the Highway Department,
10~uthorize 1990 budget modification to the General Fund-Whola Town to
cover anticipated instructor salaries.
