POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meetings, the public attending
shall be allowed five (5) minutes to address the Town Board in relation to
agenda resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will also be given
time, at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda, to
address the Board on any given topic.

IV. PUBLIC HEARINGS
POLICY: Individuals are allowed a maximum of ten (10) minutes to
address the Town Board at a public hearings; written comments of any
length in response to the public hearing will be accepted by the Town
Board at the publie hearing and made part of the hearing file.
1. Proposed "A Local Law in Relation to Shellfish", 4:30 P.M., Southold
Town Hall, Main Road, Southold, New York.
2. Proposed "A Local Law in Relation to Dog Prosecution", 4:32P.M.,
Southold Town Hall, Main Road, Southold, New York.
V. RESOLUTIONS
1/Grant permission for renewal of single family house trailer permit.
2~/ Grant permission to the Town Clerk to provide eight copies of the
350th Anniversary Journai for the U.S./U.K. Exchange program
participants.
3~/ Authorize the closure of Cases Lane, Cutchogue, to utilize the area
for the Cutchogue-New Suffolk Historical Council for their 27th Annual
Antiques Show and Flea Market.
4g/Accept the bid of Paul Corazzini & Sons, Inc., for Asphalt Road
Materials.
5/Accepts the bid of Sound Shore Excavating Corp. of Screened Sand
for Snow and Ice Control.
6/Appoint part-time Public Safety Dispatchers.
7~/ Authorize Board of Commissioners of the Fishers Island Ferry District
to grant part-time personnel 5.5% incremental salary increases
effective June 1, 1991.
8/ Authorize the Board of Commissioners of the Fishers Island Ferry
District to replace the services of a seasonal reservation clerk.
V/ Accept the bid of K&R Marine Construction, Inc., for labor, materials
and equipment required for bulkhead repair and replacement at Klipp
Park, Greenport.
10/Appoint an Aide in the Senior Adult Day Care Program.
Jl~ccept the bids of ELI Electronics, Inc. for radio equipment for the
police and fire emergency medical services communication systems for
the Town of Southold.
12~/Request the enactment of Assembly Bill No. 679.
13/Appoint 1991 Lifeguards, Beach Managers, Beach Attendants,
Playground Instructors and Swimming Instructor.

21/Request Suffolk County to include certain parcels in Suffolk County
Drinking Water Protection Program monies.
22~/Town Board goes on record in support of I.R. 1303, Suffolk County
Drinking Water Protection Program.
23V/Appoint Technician-Trainees for Fishers Island Mosquito Control
Program.
24v/Authorize Community Development Administrator McMahon to attend
"Managing and Protecting Long Island Estuaries" workshop.

25~Urge NYS Assembly to reject Assembly Bill to amend the Real Property
Tax Law which would permit Suffolk County and local municipalities to
grant an 8-year tax exemption on home improvements.
26~/Create position of Exempt Secretary to the Town Attorney.
27y/Appoint Mary Louise Santacroce to position of Exempt Secretary to the
Town Attorney.
28/Enact Local Law No. 11-1991, "A Local Saw in Relation to Shellfish".
~9/Enact Local Law No. 12-1991, "A Locai Law in Relation to Dog
Prosecution".
