of Code Compliance from architect or engineer responsible for the building.
6. Submit Planning Board Approval of completed site plan requirements.

1. THIS APPLICATION IS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW ACCESSORY GARAGE TO REPLACE AN EXISTING
GARAGE TO BE DEMOLISHED.
2. THE EXISTING 20' X 25' (500 S.F.) BUILDING SHALL BE REPLACED BY A 24' X 30' (720 S.F.) BUILDING
WITH A 6' X 30' COVERED WALKWAY AT A NEW LOCATION WITHIN THE REQUIRED REAR YARB TO THE NORTH OF
THE EXISTING MAIN HOUSE. (SEE A-9)
3. THE LOT HAS A FRONT YARD ON WHISTLER AVENUE AND A REAR YARD TO THE NORTH OF THE EXISTING

4. THE RIGHT OF WAY MARKED ON THE SURVEY AT THE REAR OF THE PROPERTY (SEE A-g) SHALL NOT BE

GENERAL NOTES
1. THE NEW BUILDING SHALL BE A NON-FIREPROOF STRUCTURE OF WOOD-FRAME CONSTRUCTION (TYPE 5
UNDER N.Y.S. CODE 704.1). THE BUILDING IS A ONE-STORY STRUCTURE ON GRADE.
2. ALL WORK IS TO BE IN CONFORMANCE WITH NEW YORK STATE CODE 98 REGULATIONS.
3. CONCRETE IS TO HAVE MINIMUM COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH AT 50 DAYS OF 5,500 P.S.I.
4. ELECTRICAL WORK IS TO BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE.
5. WOOD CONSTRUCTION SHALL COMPLY WITH ARTICLE 9, SUB ARTICLE 7 OF THE NEW YORK STATE CODE 98.
6. THE NEW BUILDING SHALL HAVE A WOOD-BURNING STOVE WHICH CONFORMS TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
NEW YORK STATE CODE 98 AND LISTED BY N.F.P.A. AS AN APPROVED SOLID FUEL BURNING APPLIANCE.
