POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meeting, the attending public is
encouraged to briefly address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions
prior to their enactment; the public will also be given time at the
conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the Board
on any given topic.

II. PUBLIC NOTICES
NYS/DOT Designation of Restricted Highway Notification for Rte. 25,
1/2 mile west of Sound Road to end of Rte. 25, Town of Southold,
County of Suffolk. This Designation of Restricted Highway shall expire
on June 30, 1995.
NYS/DEC Notice of Application for Patrick Colagiuri, 20 Elston Road,
Upper Montclair, NJ 07043. Applicant proposes to reconstruct within 18"
of existing bulkhead, 128 feet of new timber bulkhead. Replace a
non-functional 16 foot return and extend it by 14 additional feet.
Replace an 11 foot westerly return and add an additional 25 feet, with
placement of 65 cu.yds of clean fill landward of the reconstructed
bulkhead. Project is located on Deep Hole Creek, Mattituck.

Discussion of the scale at the disposal area: it will not be closed on
Sundays, effective January 1, 1995.
6. Appointment of person to fill the FI Senior Citizen Aide position.
Set date for a Public Hearing on the question of the acceptance of the
offer of Sue Hanauer and Joan Bagley of specified property for
acquisition by the Town of Southold.

Discussion on how to proceed with the traffic study submitted by
Frank Cichanowicz III in regard to his petition for a change of zone.
Determine the best way to promote the changes in the Town Code
pertaining to signage.
10. Discussion of the offer of the League of Women Voters to develop a
director of services for the citizens of Southold Town.
11. Discussion of proposed sign permit forms to be used by the Building
Department.
12. Enactment of a Local Law in Relation to Bed and Breakfast Facilities.
V. RESOLUTIONS
Special Note: At this time the Supervisor will invite the public to speak
out 9n the following resolutions.
1~/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to execute a
Contract Budget modification Request between the Suffolk County
Office for the Aging and the Town with regard to the Nutrition
Program Contract.
2/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to execute
agreements between the Town of Southold and various individuals for
businesses for the Winter 1995 Recreation programs.
3~esolved that the Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to execute an
agreement between the Town of Southold, Village of Greenport, and the
North Fork Audubon Society, whereby this join effort will increase
security and stop illegal dumping at Inlet Pond County Park and
establish a living laboratory at the park for the purpose of providing
Suffolk County residents with an environmental education program
geared to the ecology of Inlet Park.
Resolved that the Town Board reappoints six individuals to the
Southold Town Council on Veterans Affairs effective January 1, 1995
through December 31, 1995.
5/Resolved that the Town Board accepts the bid of Chemical Pollution
Control Inc., Bay Shore, NY for the removal and disposal of Household
Hazardous Waste from the Southold Town Collection Center for calendar
year 1995.

RESOLUTIONS (Cont'd.)
Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Board of Commissioners of
the FI Ferry District to accept the bid and enter into a contract with
Harold Cook, Fishers Island, NY, in the amount of $9,212 to perform
specified work on Building No. 209.
Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to execute an
Extension Agreement between the County of Suffolk Youth Bureau, the
Town of Southold and the Family Service League to provide individual
and crisis intervention counseling, plus alcohol and substance abuse
prevention/education services to the Southold Town Youth Services
Program beginning January 1, 1995 through December 31, 1995.

8/ Resolved that the Town Board accepts the bid of George Malvese &
Co., Inc. for supplying the Town with one new John Deere 744 Loader
and be it further resolved that the Town Board exercises its right to
waive informalities on those aspects of the Malvese bid which differ
from the bid specifications.
9/Resolved that the Town Board rejects the bid of Cassell Truck Sales
Corporation, Patchogue for supplying the Town with a Cassell White
GMC WCA64T Tractor Turck because the vehicle does not meet the bid
. specifications in several important aspects, including wheel base,
transmission and engine type. Be it further resolved that the Town
Board accepts the bid of Gabrielli Ford Truck Sales & Service, Inc.,
Medford, NY for supplying the Town with a new Ford LTS 9000 Tractor
Truck in accordance with bid specifications.
10~/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to execute a
Service Agreement between the Town of Southold and Lawrence
Healthcare Administrative Services, Inc. for processing ail medical and
managed care benefit claims with respect to the Town's self-funded
Health Care Benefit Plan for the period of January 1, i995 through
December 31, 1995.

11 Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to executie an
application to the Senate Insurance Company for Excess (Stop Loss)
Insurance in connection with the Town of Southold's self-funded Health
/Care Benefit Plan.

Fleming, Inc. to proivde consulting services for a Local Erosion
Management Plan, subject to receipt of NYS Grant.
Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to execute an
agreement with the State of NY for addtional grant funds under the
Local Erosion Management Program for a detailed examination of the
Duck Pond Point to Horton Point Shoreline.
