POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meeting, the attending public is
encouraged to briefly address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions
prior to their enactment; the public will also be given time at the
conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the Board
on any given topic.

PROCLAMATION PRESENTATIONS
4:30 PA - To: Len Llewellyn in recognition of Fire Prevention Week, the
theme of which is "The Importance of Testing Your Home Detectors.
4:40 PM - To: The Town Clerk and the Town Historian in recognition of New
York Archives Week, the theme of which is "Paper Trails to
Buried Treasure"
TOWN BUDGET
4:45 PM - Town Clerk will formally present the 1995 Tentative Budget of the
Town of Southold to the Town Board.
4:50 PM - Supervisor will present his Budget Message.

II. PUBLIC NOTICES
Notice of a Public Hearing Notice and regulatory impact statement for
reclassification of certain marine waters in the Atlantic Ocean-LI
Sound Drainage Basins in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Hearing is
scheduled for Nov. 15, 1994 in Stony Brook and the public information
meeting is scheduled for Oct. 18, also in Stony Brook.
Notice of application to NYS-DEC for an applicant who proposes to
subdivide a 6.78 parcel into 3 lots each in excess of one acre and
construct 2 single family residences. One of the lots has an existing
single family residence. Project site is on Central Ave at
intersection with Munnatawket Ave, Fishers Island, NY.

V. RESOLUTIONS
Special Note: At this time the Supervisor will invite the public to speak
out on the following resolutions.
Resolved that the Town Board grants permission to Assessor Robert
Scott to attend a "Fundamentals of Exemption Administration, 26" course
at Delaware County, Delhi, NY.
Resolved that the Town Board authorizes Community Development
Administrator James McMahon to submit an application to the NYS Dept.
of Environmental Conservation on behaif of the Southold Town Highway
Department to replace 250 feet of sidewalk and 230 feet of chain link
fence on Main Street, Greenport.

Resolved that the Town Board grants permission to Town Attorney
Laury Dowd to take a "Tour of the Courts", a two-part program on the
courts of state-wide jurisdiction located in Suffolk County, on
September 30, 1994 and October 14, 1994.
Resolved that the Town Board of Southold rescinds the authorization
for a recreation agreement between the Town and Robert Scott for the
Meet Santa Claus youth program which was part of a resolution on
September 20, 1994. Mr. Scott has volunteered to conduct the program
at no compensation.
Resolved that the Town Board authorizes advance checks for various
Fall Youth Programs.
Resolved that the Town Board grants permission to Elizabeth Neville,
Deputy Town Clerk to attend a Records Management Workshop entitled,
"Removing the Mystery from Micrographics: Introduction.
Resolved that the Town Board authorizes an advanced fee check
covering the cost of 47 tickets to the 1995 Ringling Brothers Barnum &
Bailey Circus at the Nassau Coliseum for the Joint Youths Program.

Resolved that the Town Board sets 8:02 PM, Tuesday, October 18, 1994
at Southold Town Hall as time and place for a public hearing on a Local
Law in Relation to Landfill Permits.
Resolved that the Town Board grants permission to the American Lung
Association to use specified Town Roads for their annual Autumn Escape
Bike Trek on Sunday, October 16, 1994.
Resolved that the Town Board grants permission to the Southold PTA to
use Oaklawn Avenue on Monday, October 31, 1994 between 4 and 4:30
PM for its annuai Halloween Parade.
Resolved that the Town Board authorizes a budget modification to the
Highway Fund Whole Town.
12/Resolved that the Town Board determines that the FI Sewer District
rent owed for the year 1994, which remains unpaid, shall be levied
against the real property of the owner and shall be collected at the
same time and in the same manner as Town taxes.

agreement with several specific individuals for the Fall 1994 Youth
Program on Saturday mornings.
15/Resolved that the Town Board grants permission to Assesor Darline
Duffy to attend an "Introductin to Mass Appraisal, 07" course at
Tompkins Couty, Itaca, NY from Oct. 17-21, 1994.
16~/ Resolved that the Town Board accepts the resignation of Mary Jane
Purcell from her position as Aide-Program Coordinator for the Southold
Town After School Program, effective October 10, 1994.
17/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to execute an
Indemnification Agreement between the Town of Southol, Office for
Women and the Women's Outreach Ne5twork, Inc. for a Mammagraphy
Program to be donducted in the Women's Outreach Network, Inc. van
on the Town of Southold Human Resources Center property in Mattituck
on October 28, 1994.
18/Resolved that the Town Board appoints Thomas S. Nielsen as a
volunteer driver for the Senior Services Program, effective
immediately, at no compensation.

19/ Resolved that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby
authorizes Lawrence Healthcare Administrative Services, Inc. to pay
bills incurred under the medical plan of Walter Bondarchuck and wife,
retired Town Employee, which was submitted by the health provider
more than 90 days after the date of service.

20/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to execute the
National Small Business Tree Planting Program, U.S. Small Business
Administration, NYS-DEC, 1994 Grant Payment Request in the amount of
$5,000 all in accordance with the approval of the Town Attorney.

Resolved that the Town Board appoints 3 pupils from the
Mattituck-Cutchogue School District to work in the Supervisor's office
under a Civic Class Work/Study Program.
Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Board of Commissioners of
the FI Ferry District to advertise for sealed bids for repairs to
Building no. 209, consisting mainly of replacing some 39 windows on the
second floor level, all in accordance with bid specifications.
Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to executie a
Quit Claim Deed to Mattituck Bowling Lanes.
24/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Town Clerk to advertise
for bids for the excavation of the FI Metal Dump.
25g/Resolved that the Town Board creates a TDR Working Group, consisting
of 10 members, and provide the group with a charge.
26Y Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Town Clerk to advertise
for resumes for 10 members of a TDR Working Group.
27/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to execute the
Stipulation of Settlement with the NYS-DEC.
28/ Resolved that the Town Board sets 8 PM Tuesday, October 18, 1994 for
a Public Hearing on a "Local Law in Relation to Parking Permits."
29/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Southold Town Recreation
Department to expend funds to defray expenses incurred by the
Greenport Softball League.
30/Resolved that the Town Board approves the acquisition of the IBM Copy
Machine by the not-for-profit organization known as the North Fork
Women's Resource Center provided that this organization will abosorb
all costs involved in moving the machine to their headquarters;
alternate: Hallockville Museum Farm and Folklife Center.

for a public hearing on a Local Law in Relation to Parking of Vehicles.
32/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to execute
an agreement between the Five East End Towns and Entek Research,
Inc. for a feasibility study regarding a multi-town Municipal Owned
Facility.
33~/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the appointment of new liasons
for NFAWL/Dog Shelter: Supervisor Wickham and Councilman Lizewski.
34? Resolved that the Town Board authorizes an additional expenditure of
$2,500 for the consulting services of Dvirka and Bartilucci with regard
to closure of the Southold Town Landfill.
VI. PUBLIC HEARINGS
7:00 PM - Public Briefing by the Southold Town Board on the question of
Southold Town providing Police Protection to the Incorporated
Village of Greenport.
8:00 PM - Public Hearing for Citizens to express views on local needs to be
met with funds received from the Federal Community Development
Block Grant.
