POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meeting, the attending public is
encouraged to briefly address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions
prior to their enactment; the public will also be given ti~e at the
conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the Board
on any given topic.

II. PUBLIC NOTICES
1. NYSDEC has received Susan Tasker's application to construct a single
family dwelling, deck, driveway, septic system, and ~evetment along
shoreline. Variances f~om Tidal Wetlands setback restrietions and septic
system requirements. Legislative hearing to be held October 17, 1994, with
regard to this project located at Middle Rd., Greenport.
2. NYSDEC has received appications to install two new wells at site north
of the LIRR & Main Rd., 600 feet from the intersection with Bray & Old
Main., Laurel.

V. RESOLUTIONS
Special Note: At this time the Supervisor will invite the public to speak
out on the following resolutions.
lg/ Resolved that the Town Board rescinds resolution No. 32, adopted
September 6, 1994, appointing Tracy LePre School Crossing Guard.
2~ Resolved that the Town Board appoints Pamela Moritt as a volunteer
Clerk in the piannlug Board office, effective September 12, 1994.
3/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes a refund to Charles Simmons,
which represents a partial refund of subdivision inspection fee.
4/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes Counsel Richard J. Cron to
accept a settlement regading the Pond Enterprises and F.I. Parade
Grounds certiorari proceedings.

Resolved that the Town Board grants permission to Mattituck
P~esbyterian Church to hold their annual CROP WALK, Sunday,
October 16, 1994, provided they file with the Town Clerk a 1Million
Dollar Certificate of Liability Insurance.
Resolved that the Town Board authorizes an advance check for the
December 6, 1994 bus trip to Radio City Music Hall.
Resolved that the Town Board authorizes a 1994 Budget modification to
to cover advertising, new fall youth brochure and office SUpl~S
Resolved that the Town Beard appoints Jean W. Cochran a member of
the Supervisor's Parks and Recreation Committee.
Resolved that the Town Beard grants permission to Mattituck Lions
Club use of Town Reads for Halloween Parade, provided they file
with the Town Clerk a 1Million dollar certificate of Liability
Insurance.
104 Resolved that the Town Board authorizes and directs Supervisor
Wickham to execute agreements between the Town and businesses for
//~he Fall '94 Youth Recreation Programs.
llV Resolved that the Town Beard grants permission to Personnel Assistant
Barbara Rudder and Clerk Typist Addie Pace to attend a Lovell Safety
Management Co. Inc. Workers' Compensation Seminar at Melville, NY on
Nov. 16, 1994.
12/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes a boduget modification to the
Fishers Island Ferry District to appropriate federal and state g~mt
funds for airport project.
13~/ Resolved that the Town Beard requests the NYS Department of
Transportation to conduct a traffic study 5n Route 48, Southold, in
the vicinity of Southold Town Beach.
14/Resolved that the Town Board adopts a $1,750,000 bond resolution
authorizing acquisition of certain developmental rights in prime
agricultural lands, to be submitted to the voters at the Nov. 8, 1994
Election.
15r/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Town Clerk to publish the
Notice of Proposition with regard to the $1,750,000 Bond Resolution for
acquisition of agricultural lands.

16~/ Resolved that the Town Board adopts amended permit fees for parking
at beaches in 1995 and Disposal Area permits for 1995.
17/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes Supervisor Wickham to execute
NYS ISTEA Transportation Enhancement Program Letter of Intent for
Southold Town to sponsor a Marine Railway at G~eenport.
18~/ Resolved that the Town Board set 7:50PM, October 4, 1994 for a public
informational meeting on the question of the Town taking on the
police protection duties for the Village of Greenport.
194/Resolved that the Town Clerk be authorized to advertise for School
Crossing Guards. ~
20~/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes Supervisor Wiekham to
purchase a parcel of land from the County of Suffolk which is to be
offered for sale at public auction.
21/Resolved that the Town Board requests the NYS Department of
Transportation to conduct a traffic study on Eugene Road, Cutchogue,
for the purpose of reducing the speed limit to 35 mph.
22~/ Resolved that the Town Board enacts Local Law No. 20 - 1994, "A Local
Law in Relation to Public Entertainment and Special Events".
