RESOLUTIONS SPECIAL NOTE: At this time the Supervisor will invite the public to speak out on the following resolutions. 1 ~/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes Assessor Chairman Scott Russell and Assessor Darline Duffy to attend a course entitled "Introduction to Mass Appraisal" with expenses incurred charged against Assessor's Budget. 2,/ Resolved that the Town Board grants permission to Raymond Cleaves Post 861, American Legion, Mattituck to use specific Town Roads for their Memorial Day Parade, Monday, May 30, 1994. 34/ Re§olved that the Town Board waives the disposal fee for grass clippings until Monday, May 16, 1994. 4~/ Resolved that the Town Board closes the ~northeriy 150 feet of East Side Avenue, Mattituck, from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM Sunday, June 5, 1994 for Pack 39 Mattituck-Cutchogue Club Scouts' Cubmobile race (soap-box derby). 5p/ Resolved that the Town Board accepts the resignation of Elaine Shortemeier, EISEP Aid effective April 25, 1994. 6/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to execute an extension agreement between the County of Suffolk, Office for the Aging, and the Town for the CSE Day Care Program for the period of April 1, 1994 through March 31, 1995. 7/ Resolved that the Town Board sets Tuesday, May 31, 1994 at 8:00 PM for a Public Hearing on a Local Law in relation to Accessory Buildings or Structures. RESOLUTIONS (Cont'd.) / · 8 Resolved that the Town Board has determined that there will be no significant effect on the environment in relation to the proposed Local Law in Relation to Designation of Parking Areas on Fishers Island. 9/ Resolved that the Town Board sets 8:05 PM Tuesday, May 31, 1994 for a public hearing on the proposed Local Law in Relation to Designation of Parking Areas on Fishers Island. 10/Resolved that the Town Board has determined that there will be no significant effect on the environment in relation to a proposed Local Law in Relation to Fishers Island Harbors. ll~//Resolved that the Town Board has set 8:10 PM Tuesday, May 31, 1994 for a Public Hearing on the proposed Local Law in Relation to Fishers Island Harbors. 121/Resolved that the Town Board accepts the proposal of Pirates Cove Marine, Fishers Island, NY for repair and placement of channel markers and instructional floats in both West Harbor and Hay Harbor. 13 ~/ Resolved that the Town Board rescinds their resolution'No. 19 adopted on April 19, 1994 appointing Susan HallocK as a Temporary Stenographer for the l~oard of Assessment Review, because Ms. Hallock has declined the position. 14v/Resolved that the Town Board appoints Lor~ine Markowski as a temporary Stenographer for the Board of Assessment Review effective May 17. 15F/Resolved that the Town Board has set 8:15 PM, Tuesday, May 31, 1994 for a Public Hearing on the proposed Local Law in relation to parking Areas. 16v/ Resolved that the Town Board grants permission to Senior Acctant John A. Cushman [[ and Personnel Assistant Barbara Rudder to attend a meeting of the NYS Government 'Ginance Officers' Association. 17/Resolved that the Town Board rejects the bid received on May 12 for the food items for the Southold Town Nutrition Center because it was the only bid received and it was extremely incomplete. 181//Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Town Clerk to advertise for bid for the Southold Town Nutrition Center for the remainder of 1994. RESOLUTIONS (Cont'd.) 29wZZResolved that the Town Board authorizes the Town Clerk to advertise for RFPs for a Gravel Removal Systems for the Scavenger Waste Treatment Plant. 30/Resolved that the Town Board enacts policy not to waive fees for permits and licenses. 31/~ Resolved that the Town Board approves enactment of Local Law #9-1994 'A Local Law in Relation to Formula Food RestaUrants". 32~'Resolved that the Town Board authorizes Senior Planner Vaieria Scopaz to attend a "Main Street Manager Training Institute** Seminar at Cornell University on June 15-17, 1994. 33~ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes Detective Beth Wilson to attend a D.A.R.E Conference in Florida on July 11-1§, 1994 and that she provides the Board with a full report on how this conference differed from others she attended. All expenses will be paid for thru funds raised by D.A.R.A. 34~ Resolved that the Town Board reappoints John J. Hagerty, Patricia Isaksen and Betty Wells to the CAC. 35~ Resolved that the Town Board appoints Lena Conte as a Temporary Clerk to the Tax Receiver*s office. 36~Resolved that the Town Board authorizes an additional allocation of $1~300 for the Youth Expo.
