POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meeting, the attending public is encouraged to briefly address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will also be given time at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the Board on any given topic. PUBLIC HEARINGS Notice of Public Hearing on Local Law in Relation to Wetland Application - 8:00 PM 4/5/94 Notice of Public Hearing on Local Law in Relation to Mooring Permits - 8:05 PM 4/5/94 Notice of Public Hearing on Local Law in Relation to Landmark Preservation - 8:10 PM 4/5/94 SPECIAL NOTE: At this time the Supervisor will invite the public to speak out on the following resolutions. V. RESOLUTIONS 1/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Town Clerk to advertise for bids for Solid Waste Hauling and Disposal Services, to begin on July 10, 1994. 2v/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the exchange of Code Books between the Town of Southold and the Town of East Hampton. Resolved that the Town Board authorizes a refund of $528.35 to Samuels & Steelman Architects which represents a duplicate payment for a building permit. Resolved that the Town Board retains the services of Frank A. Islet, Esq. to represent the Town of Southold on the Landfill litigation, at a rate of $150.00 per hour. Resolved that the Town Board authorizes a budget modification to the General Fund - Whole Town for the Goldsmith's inlet dredging and beach replenishment project. Resolved that the Town Board authorizes a budget modification to the General Fund-Part-Town to transfer appropriation for Lessard settlement. 8~'/ Resolved that the Town Board appoints Stephanie Graseck as a full-time seasonal Clerk Typist for the Assessors Office, 9~/ Resolved that the Town Board requests the New York State Department of Transportation to conduct a traffic survey on Traveler Street in Southold for the purpose of reducing the 35 mph speed limit due to the increased traffic on Traveler Street caused by the Post Office. 10/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes and directs the Town Clerk to advertise for bids for various road application items for the Superintendent of Highways. 11/ Resolved that the Town Board approves revised bond estimates for roads and improvements in the major subdivision known as Mooresland. 12,/ Resolved that the Town Board reaffirms the "Investment Poliey for the Town.of Southold". 131/ Resolved that the Town Board reaffirms the "Policy on Southold Town Employee Assistance Program". 14/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes a budget modification to the Southold Wastewater Disposal District. 15~'/ Resolved that the Town Board accepts the bid of George Malvese & Co. for supplying the Southold Town Highway Department with one street sweeper. 16/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to executie an Extention Agreement between the Suffolk County Office for the Aging and the Town of Southold for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. RESOLUTIONS (Cont'd.) 17/Resolved that the Town Board enter into an Agreement with the NYS Dept. of Transportation for financial assistance for the Ovewrlay Runway at Elizabeth Field Air-port, Fishers Island, NY. 18{/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes a budget modification to the General Fund - Par~ Town. 19/ Resolved that the Town Board accepts a letter of credit from Morres Lane Development Corp as a bond for roads and improvements in the major subdivision of Mooresland at Greenport. 20~/Resolved 'that the Town Board authorizes the Board of Commissioners of the Fishers Island Ferry District to accept the low bid of Thames Shipyard & Repair Co. and enter into a contract for drydoeking the MV MUNNATAWKET in accordance with bid specifications. 21+/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes and directs the Town Clerk to advertise for summer employees. 22/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes advance fee checks for the LI Leasure Services Association's 6th Annual Spring Conference. 23/ Resolved that the Town Board determines that the proposed "local Law in Relation to Sidewalks" will not have a significant effect on the environment. 24,/ Resolved that the Town Board sets 5:00 PM , Tuesday, April 19th for a public hearing on a "Local Law in RElation to Sidewalks.' Resolved that the Town Board determines that the proposed "Local Law in Relation to Accessory Buildings or Structures" will not have a significant effect on the environment. 26,/ Resolved that the Town Board transmits the proposed "Local Law in Relation to Accessory Buildings or Structures" to the Town and County Planning.
