POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meeting, the attending public is encouraged to briefly address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will also be given time at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the Board on any given topic. Army Corp of Engineers has received a request for authorization to construct a 4 foot by 100 foot pier, a 4 foot by 16 foot hinged ramp, and a 6 foot by 20 foot float to be secured to two pilings and one 2-pile dolphin. The purpose of this project is to provide access to the applicant's recreational vessel in Horseshoe Cove, Great Peconic Bay in Cutchogue, NY. 2. The New York District of the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers has received a request for authorization to construct a 3 foot by 68 foot fixed timber pier, elevated a minimuum of 3.5 feet above the grade of the marsh, a 3 foot by 16 foot walk ramp, and a 6 foot by 20 foot float to be secured to two 2-pile dolphins, The purpose of this project is to provide a mooring facility for a recreational vessel in Stifling Basin, Shelter Island Soung Greenport, NY. RESOLUTIONS 1/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes and directs the Town Clerk to advertise for bids for a new Street Sweeper for the Superintendent of Highways. 2/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes Superintendent of HIways Raymond L. Jacobs to purchase one new 1994 Samsung 3-Yard Wheel Loader. 3/Resolved that the Town Board issues a Proclamation to the American Legion in honor of its 75th Birthday, March 15-17, 1994. 4~/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes a budget modification to the General Fund - Whole Town 1993 Budget to cover additional services for Local Waterfront Revitalization Project. 5/ Resolved that the Town board appoints Charles Martin Krause as a part-time Gate Attendant at the Southold Town Disposal Area. RESOLUTIONS (Cont'd.) 6~/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes and direct Supervisor Wickham to execute agreements with individuals or businesses for the Spring 1994 Recreation Programs. 7/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes Supervisor Wickham to execute an agreement between the County of Suffolk and the Town of Southold for the STOP-DWI funding for enforcement activities by the Southold Town police personnel. 8~/ Resolved that the Town Board accepts the bid of Sayville Ford for supplying one (1) new 1994 Ford F-150 Supercab Pickup. 9/ Resolved that the Town Board grants permission to Bay Constables Kent McCarthy and Andrew Epple to attend a Marine Law Enforcement Training Seminar at the SUNY Stony Brook Campus. 10~//Resolved that the Town Board grant permission to Two (2) Public Safety Dispatchers to attend a Two-Day Powerphone Emergency Dispatch Seminar sponsored by the East Hampton Village Police Department May 5 and 6, 1994. 11/Resolved that the Town Board appoints Patricial Conklin as a part-time stenographer for the Supervisors Office effective Thursday, March 10, 1994. 12v/Resolved that the Town Board accepts the resignation of Thomas Riley, Assistance Cook for the Southold Town Nutrition Program, effective March 5, 1994. 13 / Resolved that the Town Board authorizes a budget modification to the General Fund -Whole Town 1993 Budget to cover overdrawn appropriation for a heater at the highway Department welding shop. 14/ Resolved t~at the Town Board authorizes the Town Clerk to advertise for an Assistant Cook for the Nutrition Center. 15~/Resolved that the Town Board engages the services of Fagan Engineering to review the plans for the Transfer Station. 16/ Resolved that the Town Board appoints a YOuth Exposition Committee, allocates $1,200.00 for expenses, and tentatively sets May 20 for the Exposition. RESOLUTIONS (cont'd.) 17/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Town Clerk to advertise for a part-time Clerk Typist for the Board of Appeals. 18~/REsolved that the Town Board appoints Elaine Schortemeier as an EISEP Aide. 19/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the installation of a new telephone to the existing system at Town Hall. 20t//REsolved that the Town Board authorizes an increase in compensation for Jack Sherwood, Assessor Consultant. 21~/ Resolved that the Town board reaffirms and/or amends certain Town policy decisions. 22/Resolved that the Town Board accepts the offer of dedication submitted by B. Aliperti of a portion of Rachel's Road, Cutchogue as executed by Supervisor Wickham and B. Aliperti, dated March 3, 1994 as approved by the Town Attorney. 23./Resolved that the Town Board engages the services of Cramer, Voorhis & Associates to prepare Long Environmental Assessment Forms for proposed rezonings. 24~ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the purchase of a new plain paper fax machine for Town Hall from Twin Forks Office Products.
