pOLICy: At scheduled Town Board meeting, the attending public is
encouraged to briefly address the Town Board relating to agenda
resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will also be given time
at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address
the Board on any given topic.

RESOLUTIONS
Resolved that the Town Board grants permission to Recreation
Supervisor Kenneth Reeves to attend the New York State Recreation
and Park Society Conference to be held from April 17 through 20,
1994.
Resolved that the Town Board authorizes an advance fee check for
$342 for hotel accomodations for the New York State Recreation and
Park Society Conference to be held from April 17 through 20, 1994
and that the check be made payable to The Nevele Resort and
Country Club; and be itFurther resolved that the Town Board
authorizes an advance fee check for $95 for registration fees at NYS
Recreation and Park Society Conference.
Resolved that the Town Board grants permission to the American
Disbetes ASsociation to use Town roads for their third annual Tour
deCure bicycle ride Sunday, May 15, 1994 from 8:00 AM to 2 PM.
Resolved that the Town board terminates the provisional appointment
of Sheila Klos as a Public Savety Dispatcher effective January 28,
1994. (Note: Ms. Klos was appointed a part-time Public Safety
Dispatcher on February 8, 1994)
Resolved that the Town Board authorizes a 1994 Budget modification
to the General Fund - Part Town to transfer donated funds for
D.A.R.E. bumper stickers.

Resolved that the Town Board authorizes a budget modification to the
General Fund - Whole Town 1994 Budget to appropriate anticipation
tuition for after schoool "Latch-Key" program.
Resolved that the Town Board authorizes a budget modification to the
General Fund - Whole Town 1994 Budget to transfer appropriation for
1994 grant to the North Fork Women's Resource Center to provide
direct services to women in need.
Resolved that the Town Board authorizes an advance fee check of
$540.00 for the March 12, 1994 Circus/Magic Show.
9/ Resolved that the Town Board accepts the bid of East Coast Mines
and Materials Corpot for supplying Screened Sand for Ice Control and
Highway Maintenance.
10/Resolved that the Town Board accepts a cehck from The Freidberg
Partnerships as a bond for roads and improvements in the major
subdivision of "West Mill", Mill Road, Mattituck.
11e/~esolved that the Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to execute
FY 94 Final Application for Federal Assistance for the proposed
Environmental Assessment for Airport Development for Elisabeth Field
Airport, Fishers Island.
12r/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes and confirms the attendance
at the Association of Towns Conference: Supervisor Thomas Wickham,
Councilwoman Alice J. Hussie, Councilman Joseph L. Townsend, Jr.,
Justice Frederick J. Tedeschi, Justice Louisa P. Evans, Solid Waste
Coordinator James Bunchuck, Engineering Inspector James Richter,
Town Attorney Laury Dowd.
13~'/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Board of Commissioners
of the Fishers Island Ferry 'District to accept the bid of A. John
Gada, General Contracting, Inc. and authorize them to enter into
contract to paint and refasten the ceiling panels at the Fishers
Island Theatre.
Resolved that the Town Board authorizes a 1993 budget modification
to the Fishers Island Ferry District to cover overdrawn
appropriations.
15P/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes a Budget Modification to the
General Fund - Whole Town to cover overdrawn appropriation for
electric usage at Human Resource Center.

16/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes $18 ;b00 Bond Resolution
for purchase of payloader and street sweeper for Highway Department.
17~/Resolved that the Town Board adopts the November, 1993 Solid Waste
Management Plan Update, as prepared by Dvirka & Bartilucci and
authorize Supervisor to submit to DEC with minor modifications.
18r/ Resolved that the Town Board approves amended conditions with
regard to temporary directional signs of a generic nature.
19~/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the purchase, from the
County of Suffolk, a parcel of park and playground property.
20/Resolved that the Town Board appoints Thomas J. Fisher as a Senior
Building Inspector.

of Personnel Assistant.

Resolved that the Town Board approves the establishment of a
minimum annual salary base of $20,000 for Health Benefit Plan.
Resolved that the Town Board authorizes adjustment of number of
days worked as reported for R. W. Edwards.
Resolved that the Town Board reafirms and/or amends certain To~vn
policy decisions.
Resolved that the Town Board grants permission to Der. Beth Wilson
to attend 1994 NYS-D.A.R.E. Officers Service Training Seminar and
Conference.
Resolved that the Town Board grants permission to Building
Inspectors Gary J. Fish and John M. Boufis to attend Finger Lakes
Building Officials Conference.

Selection Committee for homes for the Developmentally Disabled and
appoint members for that said committee.

FOR DISCUSSION ,..
Board of Assessors is requesting an increase in the fee paid to John
Sherwood, a consultant to their Board. Current rate is $100 per
day, the increase would be to $125 effective January 1, 1994.
Possible resolution that the Town Board appoints a Senior Building
Inspector.
Possible resolution, that the Town Board creates the position of
Personnel Assistant.
Possible Resolution, that the Town Board establishes, effective
February 25, 1994, a minimum annual salary base of $20,000 for ali
newly elected or appointed officials to be eligible for coverage
under the Town of Southold's Employee Health Benefit Plan.

Discussion regarding Roy A. and Joanne K. Schelin - Authorization
of Transfer Station.
Possible resolution regarding directional signs of principal or
generic nature may be installed according to specifications and
conditions stated except where prohibited by state and county
regulations.
Possible resolution that the Town Board grants permission to
Detective Beth Wilson to attend the 1994 NYS D.A.R.E. Officers in
Service Training Seminar and Conference.
