POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meeting, the attending public is
encouraged to briefly address the Town Board relating to agenda
resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will also be given time
at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address
the Board on any given topic.

PUBLIC NOTICES
New York State Department of Environmental Conservation NOTICE OF
COMPLETE APPLICATION. Permits applied for: Article 25: Tidal
Wetlands and Article 24: Freshwater Wetlands. Project Description:
To create 49 clustered singie family dwelling lots on 94.74 acres
with community water supply and individual on-lot sanita~r disposal
systems. Project includes required roads, recharge facilities and
open space located on the south side of Main Bayonet Road, West of
Cedar Beach Road, on Hog Neck, Southold, NY.

New York Army Corps of Engineers. Application to construct a 4
foot by 70 foot fixed pier, elevated a minimum of 4 feet above the
grade of the tidal wetlands, terminating at a T-shaped 5 foot by 20
foot fixed pier in unnamed creek off Great Peconic Bay in Mattituck.
The New York District, Corp of Engineers has received an application
for a Department of the Army permit pursuant to Section 10 of the
Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 to be issued to Robert Parring for
Shellfish cultivation in Southold Bay, Shelter Island Sound in the
Town of Southold.
The New York District, Corp of Engineers has received an application
for a Department of the Army permit pursuant to Section 10 of the
Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 to be issued to Thomas Apnea, Jr.
for Maintenance dredge with beach nourishment in Spring Pond,
Gardiners Bay in East Marion, in the Town of Southold.

V. RESOLUTIONS
/Authorize and direct Supervisor to execute the Town's DIE Goal
Update with regard to Elizabeth Field Airport, Fishers Island.
Resolved that the Town Board disbands the Southold Town Shellfish
Committee.
Resolved that the Town Board reinstates the Landfill Tipping
Fee charge privileges of Keith Flynn, Shore Woodwork's, effective
immediately.
4/Resolution in support of repealing the sunset Provision of Chapter
78, Laws of 1989 establishing the local Government Records
Management improvement fund.
Resolved that the Town Board authorizes an advance fee check for a
New York Mets baseball outing for the Recreation Department Joint
Youth.

Resolved that the Town Board grants permission to the Town
Attorney to attend a seminar.
Resolved that the Town Board establishes a petty cash fund for
Recreation Supervisor.
Resolved that the Town Board authorizes and directs Supervisor
Wickham to submit a grant application to the New York State Dept..
of Environmental Conservation for the National Small Business Tree
Planting Program.
Resolved that the Town Board authorizes a budget modification to the
General Fund - Whole Town 1993 Budget to cover overdrawn
appropriations and anticipated needs for unpaid billings.

General Fund - Whole Town 1993 Budget to appropriate December
income from "Latch-key" child oare program.
ll~/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes a budget modification to the
General Fund - Part Town 1993 Budget to cover overdrawn
appropriations.
12~-/Resolved that the Town Board accepts the resignation of Ruth D.
Oliva from her position as a member of the Southold Town Land
Preservation Committee.
13/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes and directs the Town Clerk
to advertise for resumes to fill the vacancy on the Land
Preservation Committee.
14/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes and directs the Town Clerk
to advertise for bids for the Superintendent of Highways for the
purchase of 10,000 yards of screened sand.
15~/Resolved that the Town Board grants permission to the Supervisor,
the Town Attorney and Public Safety Dispatcher III to travel to
Fishers Island.
16~,/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes a 1993 budget modification
to the Fishers Island Ferry District to cover overdrawn
appropriation.
17~/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes a 1993 budget modification
to the Highway Fund - Whole Town to cover overdrawn appropriations.

Resolved that the Town Board grants permission to Mary L.
Santacroce, Secretary to the Town Attorney, to attend a Seminar on
Wednesday evening, January 26, 1994.
Resolved that the Town Board grants permission to the Board of
Assessors to accept an economic intern from the Mattituck High School
to work in the Assessor's Office at no salary during the Spring 1994
Semester.
20~/ Resolved that the Town Board appoints three individuals,
provisionally.
21/Resolved that the Town Board accepts the resignation of Paul
Lawrence Zink, Scale Operator at the Southold Town Collection
Center, effective Jan. 24, 1994.
22~/ Resolution, whereas, on Monday, January 17, 1994 there was a
robbery at the Southold Town Collection Center in Cutchogue; and,
Whereas, a total of $441.00 was stolen from the Collection Center
safe; now, therefore, be it resolved that the Town Board absolves
Solid Waste Coordinator James Bunchuck from responsibility with
regard to the stolen funds; and be it further resolved that the Town
Board authorizes the issuance of $118.00 to Solid Waste Coordinator
Bunchuck as reimbursement for the stolen petty cash funds.

Resolved, the reappointment of R. Ward and R. Latham to the
Planning Board and the reappointment of G. Goerhringer and J.
Dinizio to the Zoning Board of Appeals.

Resolved that the Town Board authorizes and directs the Supervisor
to execute a lease agreement between the Board of Commissioners of
the Cutchogne Fire Districts and the Town of Southold for the 2
parcels of vacant land on the easterly side of New Suffolk Lane,
Cutchogne, to be used as a public parking field, for a term of one
year effective January 25, 1994 through January 24, 1995 with
automatic extensions for successive one year terms; and
Further resolved that the Town Board agrees to include this premises
in the Town's blanket liability insurance policy and name the
Cutchogue Fire District as an additional insured.

25/Resolved that the Town Board accepts the proposal, and authorizes
Supervisor Wickham to execute an agreement with Fagan Engineers for
the Fishers Island Metal Dump.
26/Regarding the proposed Local Law entitled, "A Local Law in Relation
to Garbage Definitions"; be it RESOLVED that the Town Board sets
8:00 PM, Tuesday, February 8, 1994, Southold Town Hall, as time
and place for a public hearing on the proposed Local Law regarding
Town Garbage Bags.
