POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meetings, the attending public is encouraged to briefly address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will also be given time at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the Board on any given topic. Appoint individuals to the Southold Town Police Advisory Committee. 2. House numbers on street signs. 3. Appointment of a Permanent Contingent Public Safety Dispatcher I. RESOLUTIONS Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to speak on the following resolutions. I/Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute an indemnification agreement with the Women's Outreach Network Inc. for a Mammography Program in Women's Outreach Network Inc. van on October 10, 1996. 2/Set 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 29, 1996, Southold Town Hall, as the time and place for a public hearing to hear citizen views on local housing and community development needs. 3v/Rescind resolution no. 28, adopted on April 16, 1996, establishing a Capital Project for the Recycling Area Improvements. 4/Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute a revised Extension Agreement with the Suffolk County Office for the Aging for Community Services for the Elderly Day Care Program. 5/Grant permission of the Mattituck Lions Club to use Town roads for its annual Halloween Parade on October 31, 1996. RESOLUTIONS - Cont. 6/Modify the General Fund Whole Town 1996 Budget to appropriate Park & Recreation funds. 7v/Authorize the establishment of Gull Pond Bulkhead Capital Project. 8/Accept bid of James H. Rambo, Inc., for labor and materials for the reconstruction and restoration of the existing bulkhead at Klipp Park, Greenport. Determine that the Fishers Island Sewer District rent owed by Thomas Shillo shall be levied against the real property of Thomas Shillo. 10t/Determine that the Fishers Island Sewer District rent owed by Susan and Kevin Connelly shall be levied against the real property of Susan Kevin Connelly. 11 ~,/Set g:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 15, 1996, S outhold Town Hall, as the time and place for a public heating on "A Local Law in Relation to Lake Drive". 12v/ Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute an agreement with David Haurus for the Fall 1996 Recreation Program. 13~ Grant permission to Det. Michael Burke and Det. Martin Flatley to attend the Eastern Armed Robbe~ Conference October 24, and 25, 1996 at Raddisson Hotel, Islandia. 14,~Amend resolution no. 10, adopted September 17, 1996, to include attendance at the Excell training on October 7, 9, 14, 1996 by Annette Jordan. 15effGrant permission to Mattituck-Cutchogue UFSD to use various Town streets for their Homecoming Parade, 10:00 a.m., October 5, 1996. 16~ Authorize the Board of Commissioners of the Fishers Island Ferpy District to accept the bid and enter into a contract with Thames Shipyard & Repair Co. For drydocking the MV RACE POINT and accomplishing work thereon. 17v/Authorize modification to Capital Project for the painting of Human Resources Center. 1 By/Delegate jurisdiction, control and supervision of the Fishers Island Metal Dump property to the Board of Commissioners of the Fishers Island Ferry District. 19/ Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute a Cooperative Agreement with the United States Department of Agriculture for the implementation of the Farmland Protection Program. RESOLUTIONS - Cont. 201//Approve bond amount for major subdivision of Thornton Smith, Section 2, at Matfituck. 21,//Appoint Charles FI. Tyler as Permanent Contingent Public Safety Dispatcher I. 22/Determine that the Conservation Easement conveyed by J. Stewart Johnson to the Peconic Land Trust is pursuant to the Town's clearly delineated public policy to preserve prime agricultural soils and to protect the scenic, open space character of the Town. 23~Authorize the Town Attorney to complete the "Waiver of Formal Hearing" with the Suffolk County Health Department. 24v/~irect each department to collect 25~ per copy, issue the prescribed receipt, and turn the money over to the Town Clerk once a month. 25 v//Authorize modifications to the 1996 Solid Waste Management District budget. 26~Anthorize Lawrence Healthcare to pay a medical bill which was submitted by the provider more than 90 days ag~er service was rendered. 27~//Appoint John Sepenoski as a Data Processing Equipment Operator. 28/Appoint individuals to the Southold Town Police Advisory Committee. 29v//Appoint Helene D.
