RESOLUTIONS Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to speak on the following resolutions. 1/Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute an Extension Agreement with the Suffolk County Office for the Aging for EISEP. 2~/ Accept bid of Statewide Installations, Amityville, for supplying the Highway Department with a new Heavy Duty Hydraulic Hoist. 3s~Amend resolution no. 8, adopted on July 23, 1996, granting permission to Computer Programming Supervisor Mary Seratino to attend IBM AS/400 4fi/Terminate probationary employee Mary Serafino, Computer Programming Supervisor. 5/Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute an extension agreement with the New York State Department of State to extend the Local Waterfront Revitalization Project grant. ///Authorize modification of Capital Project for the pickup truck for the Collection Center. /Appoint Chief of Police Conway to the Loss Control Program Executive Program. 8/Authorize the release of performance bond for major subdivision of Henry Appel, Mattituck. 9~Authorize'the closure of Case's Lane, Cutchogue, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Saturday, August 10, 1996, during Douglas Moore Memorial Concert. 10/Authorize Supervisor Cochran to file an application for funds from the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, for the Fort Corchaug Park grant project. 11/Appoint Marvin Knight as a Van Driver for the Human Resources Center. 12/Authorize modification of Solid Waste Management District 1996 budget for maintenance and supplies. 13/Grant permission to Commissioner of Public Works Jacobs to install a street light at the //~tersection of Bayberry Lane and Wild Cherry Way, Shorecrest subdivision, Southold. 14}/ Amend resolution no. 10, adopted on April 16, 1996, g.ranting permission for the closure of certain roads in Mattituck for the annual Mattituck Chamber of Commerce Street Fair to change the date to August 10, 1996. Cruz as a seasonal clerk typist for the Police Department. 23~/Town Board agrees to commit 10% of the cost of Suffolk County dredging projects in Southold Town costing more than $100,000. / 24g/ Authorize budget modification to provide Park and Playground funds for the 50/50 match to the grant for Mattituck Inlet Park Improvements. 25. Authorize display ad publicizing ~'Lot Creation and Merger Law". 26~/' Set 8:05 p.m., August 20, 1996, for a public hearing on "A Local Law Requesting the New York State Legislature to approve legislation permitting a binding referendum on the creation of Peconic County in the Towns of East Hampton, Riverhead, Shelter Island, Southampton, and Southold; and requiring a four-fifths vote of the Town Board of the Town of Southold in approving any actions relating to the creation of said County.
