V. RESOLUTIONS
Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to
speak on the following resolutions.
1/Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 1996 budget to provide fo~;
vacation earnings and salary adjustment.
21//Grant Highway Department employee a three month leave-of-absence for medical reasons.
31/ Authorize the dedication of certain roads in Southold to be known as "Jasmine Lane",
"Apple Court", and "Blossom Lane" in the subdivision map entitled "Map of Southold
Villas".
4~Authorize modification to the General Whole Town 1996 budget to amend and correct prior
appropriations of Park & Playground funds for various purposes.
5v/ Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute a Project Agreement with NYS Office
of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation to extend the Mattituck Inlet Park contract
to December 1996.
6/Authorize modification to the Central Data Processing 1996 budget to allow for the
purchase of computer software.
71//Authorize modification to the Central Data Processing 1996 budget to cover tuition for
computer class.
8/Grant permission to Computer Programming Supervisor Mary Seratino to attend [BM
workshops on July 22, 1996 and September 30, 1996, including tuition and necessary
expenses.
9g/ Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute an Extension Agreement with the
Suffolk County Office for the Aging for extension to the term of the SNAP through March
31, 1997.
10~ommence Lead Agency Coordination process with regard to the SEQRA in the matter of
the change of zone petition of Flower Hill Building Corp.
1 l~ngage the services of Charles J. Voorhis & Associates, Inc., to review the Long
Environmental Assessment Form with respect to the change of zone petition of Flower Hill

12~uthorize Town Clerk Judith T. Terry to transmit the change of zone petition of Flower Hill
Building Corp. to the Southold Town Planning Board and the Suffolk County Department
of Plarming for their recommendations and reports.
13/Impose $100 surcharge on all scavenger waste disposals, in addition to the usual disposal
fee, occurring on a day in which the scavenger waste treatment plant is closed.
14t~Authorize Lawrence Healthcare Administrative Services, Inc. to pay the medical claim of a
Town employee, which was submitted more than 90 days at~er service by the provider.
15~/Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 1996 budget to appropriate
additional monies received from Columbia Pictures Productions, Inc. for reimbursement to
Bay Constables for services provided.
161//Authorize and direct Supe~Msor Cochran to execute the 1996 Community Development
Block Grant Agreement with the County of Suffolk.
17~/ Authorize establishment of Capital Project to include the new sign and replacement
windows for the Human Resource Center.
181/Authorize Venetia McKeighan, Director of Human Services, to advertise the Elder Forum in
the Traveler-Watchman.
19~/ Authorize contract to complete Fishers Island Metal Dump Reclamation project.
20~Grant a permit to Matt-A-Mar Marina to hold a canoe-kayak event on Mattituck Inlet.
21///Advertise for Seasonal Police Officers.
22/Appoint Joseph Conway, Sr. as provisional Chief of Police.
23/Authorize Supervisor to execute a contract with Chief of Police Conway for the conditions
of his employment.
24/Refer "A Local Law in Relation to Bulk and Parking Schedules" to Town and County
Planning Departments.
