Proposal from LILCO to amend a section of the existing street light attachment agreement. 2. Appointment of Shannon Reidy as youth member of Conservation Advisory Council. 3. Fishers Island Harbor Management Plan. 4. Donation of Property to Southold Town, "Angel Shores". 5. Referendum on November 5 ballot re farmland preservation bond. 6. RESOLUTIONS Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to speak on the following resolutions. 1 g/Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute an agreement with Recreation Instructor Tom Fox. 2}~/Grant permission to the Cutchogue Fire Department to use Moore's Lane, A~.vah's Lane, and New Suffolk Road for their annual parade on July 20, 1996. 3/Accept, with regret, the resignation of Linda Scroll, Data Entry Clerk at the Police Department. 4v//Rescind the appointments of Amy Finno and Georgeann Koch as 1996 Lifeguards (resolution no. 18, adopted June 11, 1996). 5jAuthorize modification to General Fund Whole Town 1996 Budget to appropriate funds for Tax Receiver's office supplies. 6/Accept the resignation of Jacob Paul Scheiner, Gate Attendant at the Disposal Area. 7/Authorize modification to General Fund Whole Town 1996 Budget to appropriate donated funds for the Tree Committee. 8v//Grant permission to Supervisor Cochran and Councilwoman Hussie to attend America's Town Meeting in Washington, D. C., September 4-6, 1996. 9/Authorize modification to General Fund Whole Town 1996 Budget to provide monies for payment due to the East Marion Cemetery Association for 1995 maintenance for the American Legion plot. 10v// Authorize Town Clerk Judith T. Terry to advertise for resumes for part-time Gate Attendants for the Disposal Area. 11/Accept the resignation of Timothy Collins, Environmental Consultant to the Board of Town Trustees. 12/ Appoint 1996 Lifeguard and Beach Attendants. 13/Rescind appointment of Richard Smidt as a 1996 Beach Attendant (resolution no. 18, June Southold Town Board Meeting Agenda - June 25, 1996 Page 4 V._: RESOLUTIONS - Cont. 14/Resolution to acquire equipment for the Solid Waste Management District, pursuant to Section 202-b of the Town Law. 15t~/ Authorize Bond Resolution for the acquisition of equipment for the Solid Waste Management District. 16/~Authorize and direct Town Clerk Judith T. Terry to publish the aforementioned bond resolution, in full, in "The Long Island Traveler-Watchman". - 17~//Authorize modification to General Fund Whole Town 1996 Budget to provide additional funding required for excavation of the Fishers Island Metal Dump. 18/Appoim Mina Taylor as a 1996 Lifeguard. 19[//Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to sign a license agreement with Lawyers Cooperative Publishing for use of LAWDESK CD-ROM products. 2 .0~ Rescind resolution no. 8, adopted June 11, 1996, engaging the services of Marion R. King to conduct two appraisals. 21/ / Engage the services of Andrew D. Stype to conduct appraisals, for a total fee of $250.00, of two parcels. Authorize the Fishers Island Ferry District Commissioners to engage the services of an additional part-time Deckhand. Authorize the closing of Topsail Lane and Leeward Drive, Southold, on July 21, 1996, between 1:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. for the Annual Neighborhood Block Party. 24~//Authorize and direct Town Clerk Judith T. Terry to advertise for resumes for a full-time, seasonal Clerk Typist for the Police Department. 25/Authorize a refund of $28 to Damn E. Skrezec for unused yard sand tickets. 26e'/Support Long Island Pine Barrens Society's proposed "Initiative & Referendum" to the extent that it would require future use of the Suffolk County Pine Barrens Reserve Fund under the "Clean Drinking Water Protection Program" to be used exclusively for land acquisition either in the Pine Barrens or in the Water Protection Preserve. 27~//Authorize modifications to the Solid Waste Management 1996 budget. RESOLUTIONS - Cont. 28/Commence lead agency coordination in regard to the application of North Fork Resources Inc. for a Salvage Center Permit. 29/Engage Charles J. Voorhis & Associates, Inc. to review the Long Environmental Assessment Form of North Fork Resources Inc. 30~/ Appoint Shannon Reidy as a youth member of the Conservation Advisory Committee. 31 t,,/Go on record in support of placing a resolution on the November 5, 1996 General Election ballot for a farmland preservation bond in the amount of two million dollars. 32/Appoint Lori Brett as an intern in the Justice court for the summer season. 33 Y/Town Board formally updates its recommendation for the acquisition of parcels which fit the criteria for the Suffolk County Water Protection Preserve. 34/Discontinue issuing refunds for sand tickets effective June 26, 1996.
